The According to the White Paper on STEM Education in China issued by the Central Academy of Education,it is clearly stated that STEM education should be integrated into talent training strategies,and research on STEM courses,teaching,evaluation and innovative talent development strategies should be eaTied out to explore effective STEM practice forms.In the new era,STEAM education is emphasized to cultivate innovative talents,so it has taken root and sprouted in primary and secondary schools,springing up like bamboo shoots after a spring rain.Preschool education as the starting point of education,STEAM education in early childhood can better promote the cultivation of innovative talents.At present the kindergarten curriculum in our country is generally divided into five areas.This teaching lethod has killed the curiosity of children.Therefore,kindergartens have a strong denand for tlie introduction of STEAM curriculum.This paper focuses on 1how to carry out STEAM courses in large classes of kindergartens" and is mainly divided into four parts:The first part(Chapter])is to design the STEAM curriculum for iarge classes in kindergartens.Based on the kindergarten curriculum and the excellent STEAM curriculum at home and abroad,this paper analyzes the design concept and principles of the curriculum,and then designs the objectives,contents,organization and evaluation methods of the curriculum to build a large-class STEAM curriculum model in kindergarten.Part Ⅱ(Chapters Ⅱ and Ⅲ):Design of STEAM Course Examples and Practices.Around the designed curriculum model,targeted example development is carried out from the perspective of curriculun organization(problems,engineering,projects)."Why Can’t Shadow Smile,,"Three Pigs,and ’Establishment of Ice rink,were designed and implemented.Part Ⅲ(Chapter IV):Effect Test.According to the three examples of course evaluation,the course effect is analyzed.Before and after the test,observation in the teaching process and interviews with parents of 20 children,children have made progress in different degrees than when they did not take STEAM course,and their ability to actively seek cooperation,solve problems and innovate thinking has been improved.Part Ⅳ(Chapter V):Summary and Prospect.The design of STEAM curriculum for large classes in kindergartens accords with the target of children’s age stage,and the implementation of the curriculum accords with children’s interest and has certain feasibility to a certain extent T believe there will be special STEAM curriculum institutions in the future to improve teachers’ professional quality,and there will be more and more localized STEAM curriculum activities in the future.
