Improving students’ scientific literacy is an important task of current education,and this teaching task is no longer limited to science teaching,Chinese teaching also assumes auxiliary obligations.Popular science text in Chinese textbooks is an important carrier to realize the integration of Chinese and science and improve students’ scientific accomplishment.In the study of a single set of textbooks,the perspective of specialized research is too limited,and it is difficult to find problems without comparison.Therefore,this study finally makes a comparative study of the two sets of textbooks.Under the guidance of dual coding theory,this study adopts content analysis and comparative research,from the factors of "science and education" and "presentation" two big dimensions,academician of o’clock and Taiwan version of the popular science article is two sets of teaching materials in the comparison research,attempts to study to answer the following questions: 1.To what science education contains the elements of two sets of teaching materials? 2.How are these elements ofscience education presented in the two sets of textbooks? 3.What similarities and differences do the two sets of textbooks have in the elements and presentation of science education?Through the comparative study of quantitative and qualitative combination,this study finally found that there is "little difference in the proportion of popular science stationery in the two sets of textbooks,and it presents popular science articles in a variety of genres;It realizes the function of Chinese assisting science education.The value of subject integration exists;The content meets the social needs and conforms to the cognitive characteristics of students;The proportion of the elements of science education is very similar,and both attach great importance to"scientific knowledge".The six commonalities and the basic balance of the elements of science education in the hanlin edition of Taiwan are helpful to improve students’ scientific literacy.The content of hanlin edition is more contemporary and interesting,while the human education edition is more challenging and rich.The compilation of popular science literature unit of pep edition is more reasonable and gives play to the function of unit guide;The content of the illustrations in hanlin edition of Taiwan is more in line with the theme of the text,and the form of expression is more appropriate.The people’s education edition exercises after class form is various and the function is rich,has the science education value and so on five points difference.Based on the above conclusions,this study proposed that "adjust the proportion of science education elements to comprehensively help improve students’ scientific literacy;According to the difficulty of content and students’ cognitive characteristics,the distribution of learning segments is reasonable.The content of the text should be rich and challenging,and make it more contemporary and interesting.According to the theme of popular science articles,appropriate forms of expression are selected to expand the function of science education.Situational integrated teaching based on text content;Three teaching strategies of activity-based integrated teaching based on exercises after class.
