In the age of informationization,information literacy has become a necessary skill for people in research and learning.The importance of information literacy education has become increasingly prominent.The content of information literacy is constantly expanding with the development of the times.Research on information literacy education,scientific research workers in the field have carried out various forms of practice.Among them,the emergence of information-based educational games represented by games as a carrier,embedding specific information literacy educational goals,and integrating"gaming" and "educational" has gradually gained a place in the field of information literacy education.The power is getting bigger and bigger.The theory of multimedia learning cognition is a relatively mature theory in the field of psychology and is widely used to guide instructional design.Guided by the theory of multimedia learning cognition,this paper builds a game model integrating"multimedial" and "simulation".According to the model,an information quality education game is designed and developed for specific information literacy education content.Play the game to check the game learning effect.This paper firstly discusses the research status of information literacy educational game types,simulation educational game research and information literacy educational simulation games at home and abroad through relevant literature.Afterwards,through the detailed explanation of multimedia learning cognitive theory and simulation migration,the enlightenment of multimedia learning cognitive theory to the design of information literacy educational simulation game is preliminarily listed.Based on the application analysis of multimedia learning cognition theory in educational game model design,combined with the existing information literacy education game model,this paper proposes a new information literacy educational game model constructed in this paper.Then,based on the game model built,a small game called"Comprehensive Walkthrough"was developed using Unity software.Finally,the game test is used to test and evaluate the scientificity and effectiveness of the information literacy educational game developed according to the model.
