?The Biology Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools(2017 edition)?aims at cultivating students'biological core literacy.It requires students to find the internal relationship of knowledge,and open out the regularities behind it,and again this is the process of deep learning.Deep learning is a meaningful learning process that relies on deep learning ability to expand the depth and breadth of knowledge to achieve development.Students can improve learning methods,master structured core knowledge,and gradually build the framework of knowledge system in this field during their studying.Meanwhile students can understand the essence and think methods of the discipline,and achieve proficiency in knowledge learning,thus becoming active and excellent learners who exhibit their knowledge fields,maintain creativity and ensure knowledge advancement.Deep learning is becoming the goal of classroom teaching and students' learning process.How to guide students to do deep learning has become an important topic in the field of biology education.Based on this,model construction is taken as a way to achieve deep learning and this paper carries out an experimental research on it.In the part of theoretical research,the relevant studies at home and abroad were sorted out by literature analysis.The concepts of "deep learning" and "model construction" were clarified,the characteristics,occurrence conditions and their relationships were analyzed,and a teaching pattern of achieving deep learning based on using model construction was constructed.Classroom observation tools and deep learning assessment scale were developed according to the specific situation of the test object.Using the method of experimental research,two parallel classes of a senior high school in Yangzhou were tested as experimental class and control class.In the experimental class,"model construction" was used in classroom teaching in order to achieve students' deep learning.Through the analysis and discussion of the test data obtained from the classroom observation and text analysis of the experimental class and the control class,the following conclusions could be drawn:Firstly,teaching through "model construction" could significantly improve students'knowledge understanding level and internal learning motivation in the biology teaching of senior high school;Secondly,teaching through "model construction" could significantly improve the level of thinking hierarchy of knowledge understanding of students with different learning bases,but it had less influence on the level of expanding abstraction.Students with medium level were affected little on the results of deep learning by model construction teaching.The research results not only provide reference for biology teachers in middle schools to help students realize deep learning,but also develop students' scientific thinking through model construction,so as to ultimately cultivate students' core qualities of biology disciplines.So the direction in the follow-up study can be directed at the specific teaching contents and design stages of model construction which can effectively promote students' deep learning and accurately evaluate learning results.So as to help students master specific methods of deep learning and effectively improve students' core qualities of biology.
