STSE is the abbreviation of Science,Technology,Society, and Environment.STSE education is an educational concept used to guide and implement subject education. The High School Chemistry Curriculum Standards states that the high school chemistry curriculum should enable students to learn and develop the basic knowledge and skills necessary to understand the characteristics of the chemistry discipline, deepen their understanding of the real world, and deeply understand science, technology, society and the interrelationship between the environment, gradually builds up the spirit of innovation and practical ability, which is similar to the STSE education philosophy. The STSE education concept has evolved from the STS education concept and has become a hot field of education reform. It is also an important topic and direction for China’s new round of curriculum reform.Infiltrating the STSE education concept in the college entrance examination chemistry test has the significance of promoting education reform, promoting students’ all-round development, improving students’ core literacy and promoting sustainable development. This study selects the STSE test questions of the college entrance examination in STSE education, which is less studied,as the research object.By reviewing the literature, combining the characteristics of the chemical subject, the college entrance examination chemistry test and STSE education, the method of classifying the STSE test questions in the college entrance examination is formulated. The STSE test questions in the chemistry test of the key provincial and municipal colleges in China in 2014-2018 are classified into three categories: chemical science and technology, chemical science and social and chemical science and environment. After that, statistics analysis is performed on the chemistry test questions of the college entrance examination;STSE elements in the background of each set of questions is analyzed;and the overall distribution and the specific distribution of the three major categories of chemical science and technology, chemical science and society, chemical science and environment in the college entrance examination chemistry papers are revealed.Combing the distribution and specific examples, the characteristics of various types of STSE test questions are summarized. The chemical science and technology category comprises a focus on chemical science and technology,a history of chemical science, and a focus on the application of chemical science and technology in process flow. The chemical science and social categories include connecting life, highlighting core literacy and integrating social development, and focusing on energy development and use.The chemical science and environment categories include focusing on the ecological environment, emphasizing emotional education and paying attention to the relationship between industrial and agricultural production and the environment.According to the test points of the STSE test questions, the content analysis of the human education version of the chemical book is analyzed, and the contents of the compulsory test, the compulsory two,the elective three, the elective four and the elective five in the college entrance examination STSE test questions are analyzed. Finally, based on the research, the conclusions and recommendations of this study are drawn. The research shows that college entrance examination chemistry test exhibits an upward trend for the STSE test, which reflects the emphasis of the high school chemistry test, that is,the combination of theory and practice.Science and technology is the most examined part of STSE,while the questions of science and society and science and environment are relatively less prominent. The college entrance examination chemistry test questions are open and exploratory. They focus on ability test and students’ abilities to analyze and solve problems. The content of the examination generally involves high-tech,industrial and agricultural production, pharmaceutical production, daily life, energy, and environmental protection.According to the conclusions, six suggestions are proposed: changing the educational concept and improving the quality;infiltrating the STSE education concept in teaching;reviewing the college entrance examination chemistry;designing questions on the college entrance examination chemistry;trying to participate in the preparation of STSE test questions;returning to education itself, paying attention to the students and caring the students.
