Education was put on the first place in improving people's livelihood and strengthe ning social construction in the report of the 18th National Congress of the Communist Par ty of China and "making great efforts in education which meets people's satisfaction" was highlighted.With the coming popularization of higher education in our country,private h igher education has also been developing rapidly,and has gradually become an important part of China's higher education.The core of the connotation development of private higher schools is the constructio n of teaching staff,and only with teachers of a high level can the private higher schools b uild high-level disciplines,create scientific research results of a high level as well as train high-level talents.However,the poor implementation of related incentive policy in privat e higher schools by the local government,the lack of concern for the majority of teachers in private schools as well as the family system and the management mode of enterprise to some extent generally existing in private schools lead to the prominent problem of the yo unger team,the immature development concept,the low occupation identity,the lack of a sense of security and a sense of belonging of full-time teachers in private higher schools.While teachers have high work intensity in schools and poor salary that the work intensity does not match the actual compensation,with the backward security system,the teachers are lack of the master sense of responsibility and the initiative and enthusiasm fail to be fu lly exploited.The sustainable development of private higher schools cannot go on without excelle nt talents,and the management goal of human resource in private higher schools is to full y mobilize the initiative,enthusiasm and creativity of teachers,therefore,establishing a fa ir,scientific and feasible incentive mechanism is the key to mobilize the initiative of teach ers.From the perspective the teachers' satisfaction in the incentive mechanism of private higher schools,based on the relevant theory,through questionnaires and interviews,this p aper investigated full-time teachers in five private higher schools in Quanzhou and put for ward some suggestions on the initiative mechanism of teachers in China's private higher s chools:the government should earnestly implement the relevant incentive policy,graduall y improve the multi-level social security mechanism of teachers in private higher schools;schools ought to improve the corporate governance structure,create a democratic commu nication environment,strengthen the humanistic care for teachers,establish effective com pensation mechanism,build up a scientific evaluation and engagement mechanism,impro ve the teacher performance appraisal system and help the teachers to make career plannin g and teachers' self motivation in order to provide some reference to the construction of th e incentive mechanism of teachers in private higher schools.
