With the development of technology and the progress of society,the internet has become one of the most widely used tools.Especially for college students,it is closely related to their study and life.The internet has the characteristics of virtuality,interactivity,concealment,compatibility and rapidity.On the one hand,college students have more convenient accesses to information and more diverse ways of learning.On the other hand,their values,ideas,moral judgments,behavior patterns and attitudes towards life are constantly impacted by the network,which further affects the overall environment of Ideological and political education in colleges and universities,and brings great opportunities and challenges to the work of educating people in colleges and universities.The network has become the important carrier and position that higher education can not be ignored.Therefore,it is very important to deeply study the network education in colleges and universities to achieve the goal of building morality and cultivating people in colleges and universities.Under the background of network,this paper deeply analyses the connotation of network education,the importance of network education in colleges and universities,finds the existing problems of network education in colleges and universities,analyses the reasons,and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures.The introduction part of this paper mainly outlines the background of this research,introduces the origin of this issue,expounds the theoretical significance and practical value on network education in colleges and universities,summarizes the research status at home and abroad,introduces the research methods adopted in this study,points out the emphases and difficulties of this research,and discusses the innovation of the research.In addition to the introduction,this paper is divided into the following three parts:The first part is the general theoretical interpretation of college network education.Firstly,based on the analysis of the meaning of the network and the conceptof ideological and political education,this paper summarizes the implication of network education.Secondly,this paper analyses the characteristics of network education in colleges and universities,and points out that network education in colleges and universities has the characteristics of autonomous selectivity and timelessness in the form of education,concealment and continuity in the process of education,equality and reciprocity in the relationship between teachers and students,diversity and sharing in the content of education,etc;Thirdly,compared with the traditional way,the advantages and disadvantages of network education are summarized.Finally,the status and role of network education in ideological and political education in colleges and universities are expounded.It is pointed out that network education is an important part of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,the innovation and development of traditional education,and the network education contributes to the reality of ideological and political education in colleges and universities while raise initiative of the educatee.The second part analyzes the existing problems and its causes of network education in colleges and universities.This paper adopts questionnaire survey,interview,data collation and analysis to summarize and analyze the problems in college network education from the aspects of website construction,content,form,update frequency,teacher-student interaction and so on.At present,the main problems of network education in colleges and universities are: the construction of network position is difficult to meet the needs of students,the form of network education is single,the content is thin,the design of network platform is unreasonable,the update speed is slow,the interaction between teachers and students in network education is lack,and the link of education is weak.The main reasons for these problems are: the leadership mechanism and working mechanism of network education is not perfect,and the lack of overall planning.Layout,inadequate investment in network education in colleges and universities,serious formalism in network education,divorce from reality,and the quality of network education teachers need to be improved.The third part is the countermeasures of network education in colleges and universities.According to the problems and reasons analyzed above,thecorresponding countermeasures and paths are proposed from the aspects of network education position construction,network education operation mechanism,network education team,interaction among network education subjects and an organic combination of “ online and offline” education.Colleges and universities should actively promote the scientificalization and systematization of network education in colleges and universities from various dimensions,so that university's ideological and political education can keep up with the pace of the times,make better use of the network,open up a new situation of network education in colleges and universities,and constantly improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.
