In sports training,basketball belongs to the category of skill dominant.But physical ability will become the decisive factor of the game when the skill level of athletes are close.In order to promote the effective improvement of physical fitness of basketball players,many new ideas and new ways are introduced in the physical training of basketball players.Among them,strength training in physical training is particularly important in the training of basketball players,and the core strength training in strength training has attracted enough attention of coaches.Because the core strength training of basketball players can ensure that athletes can maintain the balance and stability of the center of gravity in dribbling,shooting,defense and breakthrough and other changes and effective coordinate of all parts of the body muscle joining in strength transfer.At present,there are many methods and means to carry out core strength training for athletes,among which the use of water bag has its unique effect and impact for core strength training.The water bag can stimulate the body by using the water weight and inertia of movement.The mobility and instability and inertia of water bag has various unstable interference to human.This will activates deep,stable muscles and large superficial muscle groups in all parts of the body to complete stable work and exercise deep muscle groups to greatly improve the efficiency of training and effectively avoid sports injury,especially for young athletes.According to literature review,there are few domestic basketball teams that use water bag for core strength training.Therefore,this study attempts to study the core strength training of youth basketball players by using water bags,so as to verify the effect of core strength training of water bags and provide useful references for coaches.This study design a core strength training program which use water bag by using the method of literature,field observation method,expert interview method,experimental method and mathematical statistics research methods and carry out experimental test.Twelve young basketball players were selected for a 12-week experimental study.The results and conclusions are as follows:(1)The theoretical basis for the design of core strength training program by using water bag for youth basketball players is the special characteristics of youth basketball;promote the physical and mental growth and development characteristics of youth;Effective prevention of sports injury function;To better mobilize the body’s various organ system functions;Make good connection and transformation for training and competition.(2)The principles of core strength training program designing for youth basketball players who use water bags are principle of specificity,principle of effectiveness,systematic principle,principle of pertinence,principle of standardization and principle of discrimination.(3)The content of core strength training program designing for youth basketball players who use water bags is mainly includes the movement position,the movement way,the movement way and load intensity and so on.The movement way is mainly based on the action of flexion,extension,roll and rotation;the load and intensity of the movement are based on the measured value of the maximum strength of each individual athlete and we will carry on the basic strength fast strength and the strength endurance training respectively according to the load proportion.(4)We tested eight indicators for both groups after training for 12 weeks(The core strength test was successively divided into eight steps: eight abdominal bridge,rear throw gravity ball,side throw gravity ball,standing snatch barbell squat,bend over,back up,supine,stand up at both ends,support high lift,leg suspension,and push up).After the experiment,the test results are as follows: the above eight test indicators of the experimental group were significantly different from the other six in addition to stand on high support legs and lie on your back with both ends up;the above eight indexes in the control group showed no significant difference before and after the experiment;the experimental group and the control group showed significant differences in all but two(Standing grab barbell squat,supine up at both ends)of the above eight indicators,among which,the difference between back-up and hanging push-up is the most significant.According to the test results,the training method adopted by the experimental group can significantly improve the core muscle group strength.It shows that it is effective to design the core strength training program by water bag.
