Caregivers are important members of kindergarten nursing team.They are not only guardians of children’s physical and mental health,but also partners,supporters and leaders of children’s learning.It has been found in the literature review that there are some phenomena in the current team of caregivers,such as low social status,poor salary and low sense of job identity,and even some caregivers have job burnout.Therefore,The professional well-being of caregivers urgently needs our attention.Based on John’s five-dimensional model of occupational well-being and the adapted questionnaire of occupational well-being of kindergarten caregivers,the present situation and difference of occupational well-being of 220 caregivers in W city were investigated and analyzed in this study.Based on the results of data analysis,16 caregivers were interviewed from 220 caregivers in order to find out the reasons for the lack of occupational well-being of caregivers and put forward suggestions to improve the occupational well-being of caregivers.The results of the study show that the occupational well-being of the nurses is generally at a lower-middle level.The details are as follows: 1.From the perspective of seven dimensions of occupational well-being of kindergarten caregivers: caregivers are not satisfied with the three dimensions of physical health,wage treatment and social support;Be satisfied with the garden environment,work emotion,self-cognition and interpersonal relationship.2.Through the analysis of the specific items of the dimensions of occupational well-being of caregivers,it is found that the caregivers themselves think that the content of work is tedious,the social status is low,the salary is low,the physical condition at work is not good,and it is difficult to realize their self-worth at work.Nurse’s influence on interpersonal relationship and Garden Environment Degree of satisfaction with the various projects.3.With the increase of the age of caregivers,the level of occupational happiness of caregivers continued to rise,the level of occupational happiness of caregivers aged 25 and under was the lowest,and the level of happiness of caregivers over 46 years of age was the highest.4.The level of occupational well-being of caregivers with teaching age of 5 years and less was the lowest,the level of occupational well-being of caregivers with teaching age of less than 15 years showed a risingtrend,and the level of happiness of caregivers with teaching age of 16 years and 20 years showed a downward trend.The occupational happiness level of caregivers with 21 years or more of teaching age was the highest.5.Wage income and occupational well-being level of caregivers Positive correlation,the lower the income of caregivers,the lower the level of occupational happiness.6.The satisfaction of public kindergarten caregivers to each dimension was higher than that of private kindergartens,especially the social support of public kindergarten caregivers,and the satisfaction of garden environmental dimension was significantly higher than that of private kindergartens.7.There was no significant difference in occupational well-being level among caregivers with different academic qualifications and marital status.In order to improve the professional well-being of caregivers,the last part of the study put forward some suggestions from three aspects: society,garden and caregiver.
