With the development of science and technology,advanced science and technology bring convenience to human life,but also cause environmental pollution,resource waste and other problems.Therefore,we should not only learn S(science)and T(technology),but also deal with the relationship among S(science),T(technology),S(society)and E(environment).High school biology is the subject most closely related to society and environment,so it is necessary to infiltrate STSE education in high school biology teaching.Textbook is an important carrier of education,and embodying STSE education thought in biology textbooks of senior high school is an important step to implement STSE education.This paper adopts the literature review method to analyze the background of the rise of STSE education at home and abroad and the research status quo.By setting up student questionnaire and teacher interview questionnaire,this paper investigates the implementation of STSE education in high school biology teaching at present,and points out the defects of STSE education in high school biology teaching at present.The implementation of the author in order to better serve our STSE education put forward some constructive advice,first of all,with a content analysis of the British journal of Biology course standard "from the learning objectives,subject content,evaluation target and evaluation scheme embodies the four aspects of STSE education thought is analyzed,then the British mainstream high school Biology teaching materials for you with a"Biology "(hereinafter referred to as: the high school Biology teaching material),from the presentation,project,the three levels of STSE education study.After studying the British high school biology textbook,the author took the "population and community"as an example in chapter 4 of the "compulsory third chapter: steadiness and environment" of the senior high school biology textbook published by the people’s education of China to transfer and apply the STSE education in the British high school biology textbook,and put forward the teaching improvement of "populationand community" and put it into practice.The process of teaching practice in the control group and experimental group,with "plant hormone adjustment" unit testing and the species and community unit tests respectively as the control group and experimental group before and after the test,can be seen from the practical results of the control group and experimental group test,there was no significant difference before and after the application of teaching improvements to the experimental,show very significant difference after the test,shows that through using the teaching materials of STSE education thought,on the section are material for teaching improvement is necessary.
