Social Work Intervenes The Study Of Family Tradition And Family Instructions And The Process Of Moral Socialization Of Adolescents

Nowadays,with the social transformation and family vicissitudes in China,it has become more and more common that parents value intelligence over morality when educating their children.With the growing influence of the Internet on adolescents,some of them are misguided and failed to make correct moral judgements,and moral anomie occurs from time to time.As the core of family culture,family tradition and family instructions play an important role in the process of regulating the moral socialization of adolescents.Based on the social learning theory and family system theory,and by using the method of case study,this study explores the intervention process of social work in family tradition,family instructions and moral socialization of adolescents.The author has chosen three representative cases of community S in Nanjing,based on the research of the social work intervention process,the study found that family tradition and family instructions played an important role in promoting the process of moral socialization of adolescents.Therefore,social workers should focus on improving adolescents' moral standard,paying attention to the clients' self-reflections.When provided outside the family and with the participation of both parents and child,the outcome of the service is better.The transformation of family education concept and the improvement of parent-child relationships along with parents'role modeling will improve the moral socialization of adolescents.Therefore,family tradition and family instructions play an important role in the process of moral socialization of adolescents.If social workers can design targeted services according to the problems and needs of different clients,and expand more practical skills,they can promote the development of moral socialization of adolescents with family tradition and family instructions.
