The self-study course is mainly for students to read the texts independently.With teachers’ guidance,the students to use the reading skills and careful reading consciousness they acquired in their lectures to study self-study classes,so as to improving their independent reading ability.As a new course in uniform textbooks,self-study is one of the three highlights in the compilation of uniform textbooks.The teaching of novels in self-study classes is especially worthy of attention.The purpose of self-study is to guide students to learn to read novels,in the meantime to improve reading ability and writing ability through reading novels.Novel reading is of great significance to students’ language learning and emotional edification.However novel self-study learning is often overlooked in actual teaching.With the study of self-study teaching in novels,this paper is aim at summarizing the practical self-reading teaching strategies of novels,and providing reference for the self-study teaching of novels,so as to better realize the value of self-study in novels.This paper mainly studies the self-reading teaching of novels from the following four aspects.First of all,in the introduction part,the research origin,research status,research methods and research significance of the subject are mainly introduced.The existing research results are sorted out,and it is found that the research of the academic circles mainly focuses on the teaching design of the self-study course,the teaching mode of the self-study course,and the reflection on the self-study course teaching.Based on the previous studies,this research will explore the self-reading teaching of the novel through questionnaires,case analysis and other methods,which will provide an effective method for the self-reading teaching of the novel.Secondly,it sorts out the articles of the novel self-study class,and expounds the characteristics of the articles selection and the unique value in the Chinese teaching of junior high school.It believes that the novel self-reading teaching can not only expand the students’ reading horizon,but also improve their literary accomplishment,and also to improve students’ writing skills with its irreplaceable value.Thirdly,through the questionnaire survey of students to understand the current situation of students in the self-study class,through the classroom record analysis to understand the status of the self-reading teacher teaching,from the two aspects of students and teachers,expound the problems existing in the self-reading teaching of the novel and analyze its causes point out that the problems in student learning and teacher teaching make the self-reading teaching of the novel properly implemented.Thirdly,through the questionnaire survey of students,the current situation of students in the self-study class has been understood.Through the classroom record analysis,the status of the self-reading teacher teaching has been understood;And from students’ and teachers’ aspects,this paper also expounds the problems existing in the self-reading teaching of the novel and analyzes its causes as well as points out the problems both in students’ learning and teachers’ teaching.make the self-reading teaching of the novel properly implemented.Finally,with the concept of the new curriculum standard,this paper does a deep study of self-study teaching.It put forward a reasonable strategy for self-study teaching,from the pre-class preparation,classroom inquiry and after-school development.Study of self-study in the novel has important significance and value for junior high school students.This paper hopes that this study may have a little help and reference value for the self-reading teaching of junior high school novels.
