The core competitiveness of students refers to a comprehensive ability with competitive edges formed by students after beingeducated(Luo Hong,2003).The fundamental purpose for talents cultivation in colleges and universitiesis to improve students' core competitiveness(Yu Chaowen,2015).A scientific indicator system to evaluate students' core competitiveness is conducive to the clarification of the direction and identification of the quality of talents cultivation,the construction and reform of curriculum and teaching,as well as to the formation of talent teams.The Construction Plan on Modern Vocational Education System(2014-2020)emphasizes on the improvement of the evaluation system of vocational education,and that the exploration into the indicator system to evaluate the core competitiveness of students majoring in Physical Education of higher vocational collegesis not only a strong means to orient the direction and clarify the goals for the cultivation of the professional talents in Physical Education of higher vocational colleges,judge the quality of talents,as well as conduct corresponding reforms timely,but also a significant guarantee for the students majoring in Physical Education of higher vocational collegesto have certain competitiveness in the future society.This paper adopts the literature method,Delphi method,analytic hierarchy process and other methods to construct a three-level indicator system for the core competitiveness of the students majoring in Physical Education of higher vocational colleges,analyzes and determines the weights.Finally,it verifies the constructed indicator system for the core competitiveness of the students majoring in Physical Education of higher vocational colleges by taking one Physical Education major of a higher vocational college as a sample.Conclusion:1.The construction of the evaluation indicators follows the principles of being scientific,systematic,typical,and feasible.2.The construction of the evaluation indicators is originally based on “One practice,Three learnings– practice teachers' code of morality,learn to teach,learn to educate and learn to develop” requiring as the the graduation standards for the normal college and university students teaching primary and secondary school students by The Standards for the Implementation of Teacher Certification for Normal Colleges and Universities(Interim)issued by the Ministry of Education in 2017.3.The Coefficient of Variation was used to test the degree of synergy of the expert questionnaires,and the evaluation system of four first-level indicators,nine second-level indicators and 36 three-level indicators was completed.4.From the perspective of evaluation indicators weight,the weights of the first-level indicators are(big to small): practice teachers' code of morality,learn to teach,learn to educate and learn to develop;the weights of the second-level indicators are(big to small): teachers' morality and norms,practical ability,theories and methods,self-education,education affection,students education,self-learning,reflection views,as well as communication and cooperation;and the top 15 weights of the third-level indicators are(big to small): the ability to teach in the classrooms,an exemplary teacher to others,a willingness to engage in Physical Education,healthy body,respect to profession and dedication to life,the ability to mentor sports training,beautiful body and mind,theories and methods of Physical Education in schools,improvement of the physical quality,the ability to organizehealthy activities,correct attitude,theories and methods of extracurricularphysical exercise,consciousness ofbeyond oneself,positive emotions,theories and methods of modern education and teaching.5.he empirical results of the evaluation indicator system.The construction of the evaluation indicators can give feedback to the talent cultivation program,identify the quality of talent cultivation,reflect the quality and effectiveness of teaching,and verify the construction and reform of the recommended curriculum and teaching.
