The basic characteristic of Chinese course is the unity of instrumentality and humanism,and the process of Chinese learning is the organic unity of cognitive process and emotional process.The rich emotions contained in modern prose play a decisive role in the cultivation of students emotions,which requires teachers to fully display emotional content,be good at using emotional means,stimulate students' positive emotions,enhance students interest in learning,and promote the overall development of students' personality.Therefore,in modern prose teaching,we should maximize the role of "humanities" in the language curriculum.This paper is divided into four parts: The first part explains the concept of prose and the connotation of emotional teaching in junior middle school Chinese teaching,lists the types of modern prose selected in the textbooks of Chinese textbooks compiled by the Ministry,and analyses the necessity and significance of implementing emotional teaching of modern prose.The second part,based on certain literature theory research,enters the junior middle school Chinese teaching classroom,through the investigation and research method,investigates the current situation of modern prose emotional teaching in junior middle school,and learns that in modern prose teaching,teachers do not attach enough importance to emotional teaching;neglect emotional attitudes and values in the formulation of teaching objectives;neglect the emotional mobilization of students in the teaching process.The lack of students emotional input in the classroom makes the emotional teaching of modern prose difficult to implement;then the specific reasons for these problems are analyzed: teachers are influenced by examination-oriented education;teachers fail to fully implement the requirements of curriculum standards;teachers do not attach importance to students' emotional participation;students lack interest in learning prose.The third part probes into the strategies of emotional teaching of modern prose in junior middle school,and puts forward pertinent countermeasures for emotional teaching of modern prose from four aspects: improving teachers emotional teaching ability,setting emotional teaching objectives,excavating emotional teaching contents and mastering emotional teaching methods.The fourth part designs the teaching case of Walking,and finally makes the emotional teaching come true.The purpose of this study is to combine emotional teaching with cognitive teaching.It can not only cultivate students moral feelings,but also promote the effective implementation of cognitive teaching.It examines the current Chinese teaching from a new perspective and explores the emotional teaching of modern prose in junior high school.It is hoped that it will be of some substantive help to the Chinese teaching in junior high school.
