Based on the demand of college entrance examination reform for career planning education for senior high school students,this paper focuses on the dilemma and transformation of teachers' role in the field of career.By investigating and analyzing the current situation of career planning education in senior high schools,this paper finds out the dilemma faced by teachers' roles in this field.Through the analysis of the actual situation,the reasons for the dilemma of teachers' roles are obtained.Combined with the theory of career planning stage and the theory of teachers' roles,the path to solve the dilemma of teachers' roles is found.This paper mainly adopts the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews to investigate the current situation of career planning education in senior high schools in Jinzhou City,Liaoning Province,including some students,teachers and parents.This paper is divided into five parts: Firstly,it briefly describes the development of the teacher role theory in several stages,and draws the conclusion that the teacher role theory lacks in the field of career planning.Through Schuber's career stage theory,it proves the necessity of career planning education in senior high school,so as to get the importance of studying the teacher role in the field of career planners.Through questionnaire and interview survey,the author makes a field survey of high schools,and draws a conclusion that the current situation of high school students' career development level is not high,their career planning ability is insufficient and their teachers' career planning guidance ability is not strong.Through the feedback from school leaders,teachers and students' parents in the process of investigation,the author preliminarily analyses the reasons why teachers' roles are facing difficulties,and separately from the theoretical basis.The reasons are analyzed and demonstrated from three aspects: teachers themselves,school system and social environment.Finally,through the value shift of school leaders,ordinary teachers(including class teachers)and career planning teachers,the solutions to the dilemma of teachers' roles are presented,that is,the strategies to change the dilemma of teachers' roles are provided from the four levels of education departments,schools,teachers themselves and social resources.On the theoretical level,the value of this paper is to expand the horizon of the research on the role of teachers and fill in the gap of the role of teachers in the field of career planning;on the practical level,it will provide some advice and suggestions to solve the difficulties faced by senior high school teachers in career planning guidance,which is conducive to the practice of senior high school career planning education in the future.
