Honorary education is an educational model designed for high-level students in the stage of popularization of higher education,to solve the problem of“homogeneization” of talent training,and to cultivate social elites.It is distinguished from other forms of higher education by the high level of education and the uniqueness of the educational model.As the most developed country in the world,the United States is of great significance in studying the talent training model of its honorary education.In addition,similarly,since the establishment of the Junior College of China University of Science and Technology in 1978,and the “Basic Subjects Training Program for Basic Subjects”(hereinafter referred to as the “Top Project”),the higher education is now in the world of comprehensive construction.The new era of universities and world-class disciplines(hereinafter referred to as "double-class")is the practice of Chinese-style "honor education".At the same time,China has continuously reformed and innovated on the road of cultivating top-notch innovative talents.While accumulating rich experience and achieving remarkable results,many problems have emerged.Therefore,through the comparative study of American honor education and China's "top-notch plan" talent training mode,it will have important research value for China to continue to explore the training mode of top-notch innovative talents.Based on the above objectives,this paper intends to study the full text from five parts: literature research,American honor education,the status quo of China's "top-notch plan" talent training mode,the comparison of talent training models between China and the United States,problems and enlightenment.The literature research section,the first chapter of the introduction.The Chinese and foreignII literatures were sorted out with keywords such as "American Honor Education","China's Top-notch Program","Top-notch Innovative Talents",and "Cultivation Model",and the relevant connotations of honorary education,top-notch plans and training models were clarified.Domestic and international research on American honor education and China's "top-notch plan" talent training model;the US honor education part is composed of the second chapter "The historical evolution of American honor education and the status quo of talent training mode".Specifically,in the historical evolution part,it is mainly divided into three stages: the initial establishment period,the organizational development period,and the inclusive universalization period.In the current research part of its training mode,it is separately discussed from the four dimensions of training objectives,training content,training process and training mechanism;the current status of China's "top-notch plan" talent training mode,namely the third chapter "China's top-notch plan" 'Research on the status quo of the talent training model.' Generally speaking,this part mainly includes the implementation type and typical characteristics of the talent training mode.The implementation types are mainly summarized as the juvenile class mode,the experimental class mode,and the academic mode.The typical characteristics of the talent training model in China's "top-notch plan" are also focused on the four dimensions of training objectives,training content,training process and training mechanism;the comparative research section,Chapter 4,"American Honor Education and China's Top-notch Program" 'Comparative study of talent training models.' This part focuses on the similarities and differences between China and the United States in the four aspects of training objectives,training content,training process and training mechanism.The problem and revelation part is the fifth chapter "Top of China" Plan the enlightenment of the construction of the talent training model.The problems are mainly manifested in the following four aspects:“utilitarianization” is prominent,nationality is obviously weaker;“intellectuality” is too heavy,creativity is obviously insufficient;“directionality” is clear,implementation is yet to be improved;“staged” is prominent,convergence Sex needs to be strengthened.The main part of the revelation is based on the above research,aimingat the problems in the talent training model of China's "top-notch plan",and put forward relevant enlightenment on the construction and optimization of the training mode,that is,adhere to the training goal of student-centered and international development;Adhere to the training content of "deep and broad" and general education;adhere to the training process of flexible selection and tutoring of students;adhere to the training mechanism of multi-type colleges and universities.
