The Outline of National Medium and Long Term Education Reform and Development Plan(2010-2020)points out that laws of students' physical and mental development should be respected and students should be guided to become independent and develop comprehensively,and suitable education should be provided for each student.The eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China in 2012 put forward the concept of “strengthening moral education and cultivate people” as the fundamental task of education.The Core Qualities of Chinese Students' Development published in 2016 puts forward six core qualities of students' development from three aspects.To fulfill the fundamental task of strengthening moral education and cultivate people and develop students' core qualities,it is necessary to realize the educational transformation from "teaching textbooks" to "educating people" and promote the all-round development of people,which is in consistence with the concept of career education.The basic purpose of career education is to help people to take life as the research object,to think and plan how to better realize the value of life and achieve the comprehensive and lifelong development.What's more,The General Senior High School Curriculum Program(2017 Edition)clearly points out that we should pay attention to students' all-round development,promote students' personality development,and improve students' career planning development ability.The requirement of this new program and the implementation of the comprehensive reform of college entrance examination provide an opportunity to combine the idea of career education and subject teaching.The characteristics of geography as a subject determine that this subject can be a carrier of the concept of career education,and the combination of geography teaching and career education can be more successful.This research refers to many of the related theories of career coaching technology,and under the theory of constructivism and the theory of all-round development of people,by analyzing the relevant researches in China and abroad,this research summarizes the basic theory and tools of career coaching technology,combined with the feature of geography teaching in high school.Also,this research analyzes the consistency between the idea of career coaching technology and the idea of teaching geography.This research also designed ageography teaching model based on the logic hierarchical structure of career coach technology,i.e.awakening consciousness—setting goals—making plans—taking action—presenting results.It is hoped that this research can further explore the way of career education combining with geography on the basis of previous studies,and provide some reference for the actual teaching of front-line geography teachers.This thesis is divided into the following parts:Part1:Putting forward the research background,research significance,research methods and research status.Part2:Defining the concepts of "career" and "career coaching technology",and discussing the theoretical basis of this thesis.Part3:Systematically explaining the construction of geography teaching model based on the logic hierarchical structure of career coaching technology,i.e.awakening consciousness,setting goals,making plans,taking action and presenting results.Part4:This thesis expounds the basic operation methods of this mode and puts forward the general principles for its implementation: centering on students' development,applying them flexibly to avoid being stereotyped,remembering to leave some “space” for the students in the teaching process,and getting close to real life.Part5:Designing the complete teaching case and evaluating the trial effect.Part6:Summarizing this research,and pointing out the shortcomings and future prospects of this study.
