| There are a large number of children with disabilities in China,and the number is increasing year by year.Children with disabilities are a vulnerable group that cannot be ignored by society.Compared with before,in recent years,China has made great progress in the relief and education of disabled children,the quality of life of children with disabilities has been greatly improved,but there are also some problems that cannot be ignored,for example,relevant laws and regulations are not perfect,lack of social support,social exclusion of disabled groups,lack of professional skills of practitioners,etc.Although the state and society provide comprehensive services and help for disabled children in education,medical care,social assistance,etc.,to promote physical rehabilitation and social integration of disabled children,however,due to the special nature of children with disabilities and the influence of traditional concepts,in addition,they have less understanding of social-related welfare policies and lack of social participation,resulting in a low standard of living for most disabled children and their families,and some even have a large gap with the average living standard of the society.Moreover,social exclusion is also a major obstacle to the integration of children with disabilities.This series of reasons has made it more difficult for children with disabilities to integrate into society.The problem of children with disabilities is a global problem,which has conmmonalities among countries and differences in national conditions.In many western countries,the research on children with disabilities is relatively early.Like some western countries in the United States,the research on children with disabilities in these countries started early and was relatively perfect.However,the study on children with disabilities started late,so the development is relatively slow,and the rescue of disabled children,the research is still lacking.As a special group,children with disabilities urgently need all kinds of help because of physiological or physical functions or damage or lack of organization.The medical and economic needs are even more urgent,while education,entertainment,culture,aspects also need help.The problems faced by children with disabilities are not only the problems of individual families at the micro level,but also social problems.The plight of this group of disabled children has aroused widespread concern in society.This paper analyzes the current situation of disabled children in the rescue management station in Tai’an City,under the guidance of social support theory,a series of research and analysis are carried out on the intervention of disabled children,mainly from the aspects of government,community,family,non-governmental organizations and social work groups.It aims to improve the social security and social welfare of children with disabilities,improve the self-identity of children with disabilities,and strengthen the social support network for children with disabilities.For children with disabilities,the power of society and government is essential,and it can radically reduce the burden on children with disabilities and their families.For the special group of children with disabilities,from the perspective of social work,the group work is more appropriate,and the social support network for children with disabilities is also expanded.This article uses professional social work methods to help disabled children build self-confidence,change negative emotions,and finally achieve the goal of integrating into society and achieving self-worth.The significance of this study is to analyze the problems and needs of children with disabilities,and propose solutions in many aspects and ways to help disabled children solve their difficulties and finally achieve self-development. |
