In 2017,the Ministry of Education promulgated the New Curriculum Standards for Mathematics in Senior High Schools,pointing out that the core accomplishment of mathematics is the concentrated reflection of the objectives of mathematics curriculum,the comprehensive reflection of the thinking quality,key ability,emotion,attitude and value with the basic characteristics of mathematics,and the gradual formation and development in the process of mathematics learning and application.The core qualities of mathematics include mathematical abstraction,logical reasoning,mathematical modeling,intuitive imagination,mathematical operation and data analysis.Mathematical modeling literacy is one of the six core literacy of mathematics.How to cultivate high school students’ mathematical modeling literacy is the concrete embodiment of developing students’ core literacy and an effective measure to implement the fundamental task of Lideshuren.This study conducted a sample survey of students and teachers in a senior high school in Xinxiang City and Runan County.SPSS20.0 was used to describe the questionnaire data by statistics,principal component analysis,independent sample t-test,and combined with in-depth interviews with students,teachers and parents,it was concluded that the current status of high school students’ mathematical modeling literacy training mainly existed in the low level of students’ mathematical modeling literacy.In view of the existing problems,the author puts forward five principles that must be followed in mathematical modeling,namely,the principle of student subject,the principle of adaptability,the principle of inquiry,the principle of activity practicality,and the principle of multiple evaluation.At the level of schools and teachers,the ways to cultivate mathematical modeling literacy are put forward in the aspects of teachers’ teaching,curriculum development of mathematical modeling,team building ofmathematical modeling coaches,development of mathematical modeling activities,organization of mathematical modeling competitions,construction of teaching resources of mathematical modeling in schools,and elective courses of mathematical modeling.The teaching guidance of mathematical modeling literacy is compiled according to the new curriculum standard.The teaching case of Mathematics Modeling in Room has certain reference significance for middle school teachers when they carry out the teaching activities of Mathematics Modeling.Mathematical modeling literacy is one of the six essential core qualities for senior high school students.Training middle school students’ mathematical modeling literacy and letting mathematical modeling literacy fall to the ground in middle school is an effective measure to implement the fundamental task of Lideshuren,which is of great significance to the development of middle school students’ mathematical core literacy.
