| Chinese promotion in the Philippine Mainstream society has gradually entered the right track,in order to train the Philippine mainstream middle school students to learn Chinese motivation,enhance their sense of Chinese culture,the author used questionnaires to investigate the relationship between Chinese learning motivation and cultural identity of 244 students in seven mainstream secondary schools in the National Capital Region,Central Luzon,Visayas Region of Philippines.The data obtained from the study were analyzed by means of the SPSS data analysis software.The study found that the mainstream middle school students’ Chinese learning motivation and cultural identity is a moderate positive correlation,learning motivation will increase with the enhancement of cultural identity,cultural identity will be enhanced with the improvement of learning motivation,the interaction between the two.In addition,there are differences between the different learning motivations of mainstream middle school students in the Philippines and their cultural identity in cognition,emotion and behavior.According to the results of this survey,the author puts forward some suggestions for improving the Chinese learning motivation of mainstream middle school students in the Philippines,and hopes to make a modest contribution to teaching Chinese as a foreign language. |
