Postgraduate education is of great significance to the cultivation of innovative talents and an important part of China's higher education system.As the entrance of graduate education selection and training,graduate enrollment is a key link to ensure the quality of graduate education.With the further opening of the system of recommendation exemption for postgraduates in recent years,the number of recommendation exemption postgraduates has been increasing,but how to assess the quality has always been a problem worthy of study.This study takes the graduate student exemption test admission system as the research object,and summarizes the relevant documents and the selection characteristics of the recommended students.On this basis,combined with the relevant literature to construct an academic postgraduate academic literacy model,and prepare a survey based on this.By recycling 354 questionnaires,the current situation and differences of academic literacy and academic achievement of academic postgraduates in N University were mainly studied.How did they perform in this process and whether the way of admission would affect the academic achievement of academic postgraduates were discussed.This provides reference for improving the policy of postgraduate promotion and exemption and the quality of postgraduate education.This paper use SPSS statistical analysis software and draw the following conclusions:1.The overall difference of different entry methods for graduate students in motivation,academic accomplishment and academic achievement are not obvious.The vast majority of students are studying for better social status and development prospects,rather than purely academic research.The ordinary candidates students are more interested in promoting academic interest,and the recommended students perform better in academic morality.The recommended students perform better in publishing papers,academic scores and participating in the number of research projects.In the number of conference papers and the number of awards in scientific research and innovation competitions,the ordinary candidates are slightly better than the others.2.The academic literacy of students of different grades is different.The performance of the recommended students of Graduate One in academic interest and academic ability is not as good as that of ordinary candidates.So do the total scores of the academic literacy.In the second year,the ordinary candidates performance better in the academic cognitive dimension.The performance of recommend students of Graduate Three in the academic moral dimension is significantly better than the ordinary candidates.However,with the growth of grades,the average value of the academic ability,academic ethics and academic knowledge is getting better and better.3.The postgraduate selection process pays attention to the students' comprehensive quality,but there are still some problems.For example,the selection criteria are not detailed enough,and the assessment of soft qualities such as academic interests is lacking.4.The admission method has no significant influence on the academic achievement of the graduate students.The family background and academic literacy factors have significant positive effects.Academic ability and academic interest have positive influence on academic achievement,and academic morality has a negative impact on academic achievement.5.The learning engagement of academic graduate students is decreasing with the growth of grades,and the overall level of academic literacy still needs to be improved.Based on the above research conclusions,combined with the interview data,on the one hand,the following policy recommendations are proposed for improving the postgraduate promotion system:1.It is necessary to improve the method of recommended students and strengthen the examination of academic literacy.2.Strictly control the quality of academic graduate students,and guide students to choose the right type of graduate study.The comprehensive quality of the students who have excellent academic performance but no academic interest can choose a professional degree.3.Change the stereotype of the value of the graduate students and encourage cross-professional enrollment.On the other hand,the following suggestions are made for improving the academic literacy of academic postgraduates:1.Strengthening entrance education,cultivating students' academic interests,and correcting students'motivation for studying.2.Improve postgraduate training programs,strengthen tutor guidance and incentives,and maintain the continuity of learning engagement.3.Take measures to cope with the academic "empty window period"of recommend students,and avoid students from "being backward in school"in the beginning.4.Attach importance to the cultivation of academic morality of postgraduate students.5.Expand the breadth and depth of postgraduate academic knowledge learning.6.Graduate students should try their best to bring subjective initiative into play and strengthen their academic literacy.
