With the rapid development of modern social science and technology,countries have realized that science and technology are not only the primary productive forces of society,but also the inexhaustible motive force for the development of the country and the nation.Such a social environment puts forward higher requirements for the scientific literacy of members of society.How to improve the scientific literacy of members of society has also become a topic of serious concern in science education.To this end,the relevant research on science education is in full swing,especially the scientific education research in the basic education stage has received more and more attention.In this context,foreign researcher Linn and her colleagues have proposed a knowledge integration model(referred to as KI model)after many years of iterative research in the middle school science classroom.And it proves that the knowledge integration model can effectively promote students ' scientific study in the environment of technical support,especially to promote the scientific concept learning of students.However,at present,there is basically no case in the science classroom in China that uses the idea of knowledge integration mode to implement science teaching.Since scientific concept learning is the most critical and fundamental part of scientific learning,this study is based on the knowledge integration model and designs learning activities suitable for general science classrooms to promote the scientific concept learning of junior high school students.This study has carried out a series of studies for this purpose.Based on the reading of relevant literature,this study firstly summarizes the research status of knowledge integration mode and scientific concept learning at home and abroad,and defines the concepts of knowledge integration mode,scientific concept and integrated understanding.On this basis,this study details the origin and development,principles and processes of the knowledge integration model.On this basis,it is demonstrated that the knowledge integration model can effectively promote the scientific concept learning of junior high school students and the feasibility of designing ordinary classroom learning activities bymeans of knowledge integration mode.Then,this study uses the knowledge integration model as the standard to observe and analyze the current science classroom,and summarizes the four problems existing in the current junior high school science concept learning.In order to solve these four problems,this study takes the process of knowledge integration model as the specific guidance,takes the principle of knowledge integration as the highest standard,designs the scientific concept learning activities that adapt to the general science classroom,and introduces the specific activities.After that,the study verified the effectiveness of learning activities through routine testing,KI testing,classroom participation observation analysis,learning result record tables,and student satisfaction survey analysis.Through the analysis of the experimental results,it can be explained that the scientific concept learning activities designed in this study can promote the integrated understanding of the scientific concepts of junior high school students,and can also guide students to change their viewpoints,improve students' participation in learning,and cultivate students' interest in learning.This study demonstrates the feasibility of using the knowledge integration model to design junior high school science concept learning activities,and bases on the knowledge integration model,finds the problems existing in the current junior high school science concept learning,and designs activities to promote the learning of science concepts for junior high school students based on the knowledge integration model.Although the study takes a short time and the research sample is relatively simple,it still has certain theoretical and practical value.
