With the implementation of the national education informatization development strategy and the development and popularization of Internet technology,the traditional teaching method of classroom teaching has been greatly affected.The students in the junior high school are full of the desire to explore the world.The geography subjects study astronomy,explore geography,and study the surface environment closely related to human beings.Therefore,they shoulder the responsibility of guiding students to explore the mysteries of the world.Geo-video data can help teachers complete this task with its vivid image and easy to understand.At the same time,short video has gradually developed into a new medium for people to pay attention to social dynamics and understand current events.Students are also happy to acquire knowledge by watching videos.Therefore,following the development of the times and the learning environment and learning psychology of students,research on the use of video materials to assist teaching has received increasing attention.Therefore,this paper takes the development requirements of national education informationization and the current teaching needs of compulsory education as the research background.It uses literature reading method to review the research status of video teaching at home and abroad,puts forward the research direction of this paper,and puts forward the concept of geographic video data.The characteristics,functions and the theoretical basis of the relevant research in this paper;then use the questionnaire survey method to investigate the current situation of the use of video materials in the current junior high school geography classroom teaching,and develop the application strategies of relevant video materials in geography classroom teaching:(1)Classification of junior high school geography knowledge;(2)Establish Video database;(3)Master the method of obtaining video data;(4)Follow the application principles of video materials;then use contrast test method to compare the teaching effects of different teaching programs in different classes;finally use statistical analysis method to collect questionnaires and teaching The feedback is analyzed and statistics,and the main conclusions are as follows: Firstly,the video data is obviously used in the middle school geography classroom teaching,which can effectively help the students to effectively master the geographical knowledge.Secondly,different types of knowledge points use video teaching to have different effects.Concept class Feature class knowledge using video teaching effect than other type of knowledge is more significant;Finally,using the strength of a video lesson should be appropriate,using the strength of the effect of two videos in the classroom teaching of the most significant.
