Preconception is an important factor that affects the physics learning of junior middle school students.Before students formally learn the physical concepts and laws,there are certain understandings and opinions of what they are going to learn in the mind,which are considered to be preconceptions.Some of the preconceptions in the student’s mind are correct and can be prepared for students to learn scientific concepts.Some preconceptions are contrary to scientific concepts and have a negative impact on physics teaching and learning in middle schools.Mechanics knowledge is a main thread that runs through the content of junior middle school physics.It is the physics knowledge that students contact more in life before learning physics,and students have more mechanics preconceptions.What are the mechanical preconceptions of the students,how they are formed,what are the reasons for the formation,and how the teachers transform the students’ preconceptions in teaching are all worthy of our discussion.This paper mainly studies the cause of formation and teaching strategy of physics mechanics wrong preconception in junior high school.The first part is the introduction,put forward the research background,summarize the Research status of the preconception at home and abroad,determine the research purpose and research methods and so on;The second part is the theoretical basis of this study,which provides the theoretical basis for the analysis of the causes of the formation of wrong preconception and the proposal of teaching strategy.The third part defines preconception,the scientific concept and the physics mechanics preconception,expounds the characteristics of the preconception and the impact on physical mechanics learning in junior middle school,and analysis of the elementary and middle school mechanics learning basis;The fourth part uses the research methods of questionnaire,conversation and interview to investigate the existence and causes of formation of physics mechanics wrong preconception in junior middle school,so as to provide practical basis for the research of teaching strategy.The fifth part makes a thorough analysis of the causes of the formation of the wrong physics mechanics preconception in junior high school.The main reasons are the perception in life,take a part for the whole,thinking set,the concept of subjective construction,the deviation of understanding of the concept,the interference of other concepts and so on.At the end of the paper,the author puts forward the teaching strategy of preconception,and designs the classroom teaching case of "Newton’s first law" and "Floating and sinking condition of object",and applies the research theory of the preconception to the practical teaching.It is hoped that our research can enrich the theory of preconception and promote physics teaching in junior high school.
