In the context of the new curriculum,teaching methods gradually changed from cramming to guiding,Among them,the situational teaching mode is increasingly praised by frontline teachers.Situational teaching is closely connected with the support of situational materials.Therefore,this article explores and practices the situational materials and its application,which aiming at improving the maximum benefit of situational materials in the classroom.This article is detailed in the following sections:The first part is the introduction part,including research background,research significance,research status at home and abroad and research methods.The second part introduces the related research on the concept of situational material using the literature research method.This part summarizes the definition of situational material and analyzes the relationship between situational material and teaching situation.It also briefly analyzes the theoretical basis of this thesis,including Piaget’s cognitive theory,constructivist learning theory and situational cognition and situational learning theory.The third part mainly introduces the function of situational material.Based on a certain literature research,the classification,presentation,selection principle and collection path of situational materials are studied in detail.The fourth part is under the guidance of the basic theory of this paper.Specific application methods for situational materials are proposed for different types of chemical knowledge,They are divided into following variaties.The first is chemical term knowledge including giving meaning to chemical terms raises interest in learning;A variety of materials are linked to develop student thinking;The second is chemical concept knowledge,including create conceptual meaning of situational understanding;Pay attention to the process of concept formation and highlight the concept construction;The third is chemical theory knowledge: Fully develop the history of chemistry;Create an inquiry-based learning environment;Material chemistry knowledge: Optimize learning methods;Contact the actual life migration application;The forth is chemical experiment knowledge including build a practical teaching situation;Create progressive inquiry links;Focus on the modernization of chemical experiments;The material application in the case was analyzed.The fifth part is based on the application method of situational material to select an appropriate situational material to design a specific teaching case.Get a good teaching effect.
