| With the construction of learning society and lifelong education system,social employees’ need for post-university continuing education is increasingly urgent.As the main carrier of non-degree continuing education,ordinary colleges carries important responsibilities and missions.,as the main carrier of non-degree continuing education.For many year,non-degree continuing education is actively and steadily developing,while the number of trainers is developing rapidly and the scale is growing.The problem of training quality and effect is becoming more and more prominent.it also makes the problems of training quality and effect increasingly prominent,And the development of the effect of non-degree continuing education is far behind the growth of its scale.In view of the increasing emphasis on the quality and connotation of non-degree continuing education,based on Xiamen University,this paper constructs an analysis framework for the influencing factors of the training effect of non-degree continuing education,combining Baldwin&Ford training effect model and Kirkpatrick’s learning and training evaluation theory.This paper quantitatively analyzes the status and influence factors of non-degree continuing education in Xiamen University,and proposes corresponding improvement mechanism.Based on the questionnaire data from 347 participants from 10 training courses date between November 2017 and April 2018,the main research findings as below:1.By quantitative analysis of factors such as analysis&design,curriculum development,teaching implementation,and training evaluation during the training process,it was found that the non-degree continuing education of Xiamen University showed the following characteristics:The classroom teaching methods are flexible and diverse,and added appropriate interactive discussion,teaching depth is moderate and will not bring learning pressure.However,the course lacks features and pertinence,and the content is copied from academic education.The teachers employed are mostly theoretical,and the practical value of the course content is not high.In addition,the assessment method is relatively simple.2.By means of multiple regression method,the factors influencing the training effect are considered in detail,the specific influence of each dimension of training design factors on the training effect is systematically examined,and the key variables influencing the training effect are revealed.It was found that demand analysis,,classroom interaction,teachers,content of training evaluation are the influencing factors of training effect in Xiamen University.3.Combined with the status and influencing factors of the training model of Xiamen University,it can be found that problems such as the training content does not meet the needs of the students,the teacher strength is weak,and the training evaluation is superficial,will lead to poor training results.4.Drawing on the ADDIE instructional design model and PDCA total quality management theory,we can propose following strategies to improve the effectiveness of training,establish a training demand control mechanism;establish a diverse team of teachers;improve the training evaluation system;and adopt continuous improvement measures.The contribution of this paper is adopting quantitative analysis method to systematically examine the impact of various factors,applying Baldwin&Ford model,based on past descriptive study of training effects.Therefore,it provides a reference for Xiamen university to improve quality of non-degree continuing education continue education. |
