The Chinese Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(Experimental Draft)published in 2011 and the Chinese Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools(2018 Edition)promulgated in early 2018 both emphasize the importance of reading the whole book.With the use of integrated textbooks,the whole book reading has moved from extracurricular to intracurricular,and curricularization is the only way to effectively promote the whole book reading in daily teaching.This article is an attempt and practice of curriculum-based reading of the whole book.This paper attempts to construct a nine-year consistent school "Andersen's Complete Works of Fairy Tales" step-reading course,and carries out the practice.This paper studies from the following three aspects:The first is the study of the whole book.It breaks the restriction of reading the whole book in a certain grade or period,not only integrates the object of reading the whole book with the educational system,but also tries a new reading strategy of reading a book in stages and spirals.Secondly,it studies the reading content of the whole book.In order to adapt to the particularity of the reading object,Andersen's Complete Collection of Fairy Tales is selected as the reading content,which broadens the concept of "whole book" and "whole".In this study,we try to use the characteristics of scattered content and focused theme of anthology works to classify and summarize the reading content and apply it to the curriculum adapted to the nine-year consistent system.Finally,it studies the reading strategies of the whole book.In order to adapt to the goal of reading a book for all nine-year consistent students,some innovations have been made in the choice of reading strategies.The form of categorized reading has been transformed into a more suitable step-type reading for nine-year consistent students.In order to carry out more in-depth reading,the spiral reading has been innovated.
