Research On The Role Of Outstanding Alumni Resources In College Students' Ideological And Political Education

At the National Conference on Ideological and Political Work in Colleges and Universities held in December 2018,General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that the fundamental problems in the ideological and political education work in colleges and universities are: what kind of people to train,how to train people,and who to train.We should adhere to the principle of cultivating morality and people as the central link,carry out ideological and political work in the whole process of education and teaching,realize all-round and all-round education,and strive to create a new situation for the development of higher education in China.In the process of strengthening and improving the ideological and political education of college students,there are both development and challenges.As an extension and supplement of educational resources in Colleges and universities,outstanding alumni resources in colleges and universities play a potential and irreplaceable role in Ideological and political education of College students.In the current era,the openness and diversified development of society has led to the constant changes in the ideological ideology of college students,but the ideological and political education in colleges and universities still follows the previous tradition.With the continuous development of education,in the work of ideological and political education in colleges and universities in China,many colleges and universities have introduced the concept of "alumni education" in the development of colleges and universities.Integrating the outstanding alumni resources into the ideological and political education in Colleges and universities and combining "words and deeds" with "teaching by example" can not only play the role of emotional education,inspiration and demonstration,unity and cohesion,and cultural education of outstanding alumni resources,but also help promote the research and development of the theory ofideological and political education enriches the content of ideological and political education,as well as the comprehensive quality of ideological and political educators,and enhances the effectiveness of ideological and political education for college students.Through reading the relevant literature,integrating the relevant knowledge of Ideological and political education theory,pedagogy,psychology,sociology and other disciplines,this paper studies the problems of outstanding alumni resources in the application of ideological and political education of college students by means of questionnaires and field interviews.Then,from the perspectives of colleges and universities on the importance of outstanding alumni resources,humanities environment,funding guarantee,and education concept,this paper analyzes the reasons why outstanding alumni resources appear in the process of applying ideological and political education of college students,and then finds a solution to the problem.Combining with the actual situation,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions on the application of outstanding alumni resources in the ideological and political education of North University of China,which provides a new perspective for better and more effective utilization of outstanding Alumni Resources in Colleges and universities.
