| Since the reform and opening up, China’s higher education developed rapidly,colleges and universities gradually expanded school autonomy, to seek more educational resources and funding, the university began to realize the importance of alumni resources development, and pay alumni work more and more attention, how reasonable and effective to develop alumni resource has become an important issue of the university,colleges and universities have established alumni organization to carry out the alumni work, although has made some achievements, but especially compared with the mature alumni resources development of the United States,our alumni work is still in the shallow,there are still many problems and deficiencies in the theory and practice of alumni, there are bottlenecks in the development of concepts and mechanisms. In this paper, using literature research, comparative studies, field observations and other methods, and on the basis of extensive literature and theoretical research to analyze, summarize and research the development of Qingdao University alumni resources.This paper is divided into four parts, the first part is to define the alumni resources,alumni and other related concepts, analyze the significance for colleges of alumni resources development. The second part provides an overview of the current situation of our alumni resources development, summed up the achievements of the alumni resources development that our university has made, and noting many problems of its existence: the alumni organization is not perfect, inadequate staffing, the level of the alumni work needs to be improved, thinking and understanding is not high,service object dislocation,utilitarian tendency is obvious. The third part takes the development of the alumni resources of Qingdao University as the case, and introduces the construction of the Qingdao University Alumni Association in detail,alumni organization set, alumni donation projects, listed the achievements of alumni and analyzed its facing problems and its train of thought. Section IV summarizes the characteristics of American Universities Alumni resource development, our colleges and universities with their own reality,proposed the principle of university alumni resources development and to provide some valuable suggestions to strengthen the University Alumni Resources Development in China. |
