Concentration is one of the learning qualities and an important part of children's abilities.The development of concentration not only has an impact on learning and life,but also is closely related to the development of other abilities which form an inseparable network.In this study,30 children aged 5-6 years old in H kindergarten,Longquanyi district,Chengdu were selected as subjects for experimental study.In this study,the concentration of children was taken as the dependent variable,and the degree of freedom of task and the types of painting materials were taken as the independent variable,and the length of painting,themes and main test were taken as the control variables.Different conditions were set for painting activities to explore the influence of different experimental processing modes on the concentration of 5-6 years old children in the senior groups.Based on previous studies,the researcher adapted “the evaluation table of operational performance of children's concentration”.After the experiment,the behavior of children was quantified according to the table,and the data were comprehensively analyzed by SPSS.The main conclusions are as follows: task freedom has a significant impact on children's concentration,and the difference between different task degrees of freedom is statistically significant.Children's concentration score is higher in the mode of high task freedom.The influence of painting materials on children's concentration is not significant.There was a significant interaction between the degree of freedom of task andthe type of painting materials,and the results of interaction effects are statistically significant.Children get the highest score in the combination mode of three kinds of painting materials and high task freedom.Based on the research results,discussion and analysis,the researcher put forward three teaching suggestions for preschool educators:(1)Realize the diversity of task freedom and provide children with painting activities of different task types.Explore and discover the value contained in different painting tasks and reasonably set task requirements,which could provide a variety of options and a greater stage for the development of children.Respect children's individual differences to adapt to the development needs of different children.(2)Realize the diversity of the combination of painting materials and tasks.Provide children with rich painting materials and create different task modes,which can enable them to use rich painting materials in different task mode and can provide more possibilities for them to explore the world and express themselves.
