Abstract/Summary:
In the 21st century,the human society has entered the era of electronic media.As the ninth art,games have become a normal part of People’s Daily life and a daily cultural phenomenon.With the development of technology,the extension of the game game live into the line of sight.There is a new connection between games and live games.More and more players change from directly participating in games to watching others’games,and from game players to game audiences.This article selects this phenomenon as the research object,carries on the comprehensive profound research to the interactive change through the cultural critical school’s Angle of view.Based on the observation platform of douyu game,the most influential live game platform at present,this paper makes an observation on the watching behavior of game audience and considers why they choose to watch and what is the logic behind such watching behavior.Therefore,the study selected the 30 games in bettas platform,on one of the core ten games audiences online participatory observation,depth interview and select the fragmentation of the use of related theory,social psychology and satisfaction theory and criticism of Frankfurt school from the theoretical perspective of three different but with complementary discussion,vivid and impressive to deduce the behavior of groups in the live game.At the end of the paper,the representation of game audience and the watching logic behind it are expounded and answered.According to the research,game audience is derived from game players,among which there are two groups of "ashes" and"swingers"among game players.This paper explains and discusses the viewing logic,and explains the fragmented social influence in the social background,the gaming experience in the individual psychological level and the deviating behavior of the game audience.Finally,it explains the meaning and reflection of its watching behavior.Game broadcast also provides a buffer between game and players.Meanwhile,game broadcast technology and content improve the game ecological chain,bridge the gap between game time and non-game time,and to some extent replace games,providing players with the possibility to meet their needs in the fragmented era.And the game broadcast will cultivate the player into an audience,improving the feedback loop in the game ecological chain.The research reflects on the behavior changes of game audience.
