Literary works of Lu Xun has been selected into Chinese textbook early back in the republic of China era.Over a hundred years have passed,they have become time-tested classic works.The universal value behind goes beyond time and space,and still has an impact on thoughts and behaviors of middle-school students nowadays.Literary works of Lu Xun is a production of the period between classical Chinese and writings in vernacular,and a production of the period of historical transition.On one hand,Lu Xun's articles are endowed with profound historical and cultural connotations by specific era.On the other hand,due to the complex historical background and the turbulent social reality,Lu Xun's articles are featured as dull and difficult.For Chinese teachers,it's not easy to fully explain Lu Xun's articles.Separated by eras,teachers and students may not deeply understand the essence of Lu Xun's thoughts and how the thoughts developed,so they may not fully understand the value of Lu Xun's articles in terms of how the articles enlighten the nation.Apart from that,teachers tend to solidify Lu Xun's image without reading carefully,which may lead to rigid teaching.Or,teachers may over emphasize personal understanding,which may lead to vague teaching.Aiming at problems above,this article introduces the idea of pragmatics to Chinese teaching for the following three reasons.Firstly,pragmatics and Chinese teaching have a historical origin.It already contains the germination of pragmatic teaching when teaching Classics,History,Subscriptions,and Collections in ancient China.Secondly,pragmatic teaching accords with the traits of Chinese course,and thus can help develop students' core competencies in Chinese.Finally,pragmatic teaching makes up the deficiency of Chinese teaching by avoiding separating instrumentality from humanity.As Lu Xun's articles are essential parts in Chinese textbooks for middle schools,pragmatic teaching is urgently needed.Combining literature research method,detailed reading of the text,case analysis,and questionnaire method,this article analyzes the value,necessity,and possibility of teaching Lu Xun's articles in the view of pragmatic teaching.After that,this article gives specific strategies based on the choice of words,conversational language,special rhetoric,and specific context in Lu Xun's articles.Furthermore,using Blessing as an example,this article provides a feasible teaching case to teachers,and verify the feasibility of combing pragmatic teaching with teaching Lu Xun's articles.Excluding introduction and conclusion,there are six chapters in this article.Among them,the fifth and sixth chapter are the key of this article.The first chapter briefly introduces pragmatic teaching.It clarifies the concept of pragmatic teaching,and introduces its develop history and research content.It also clarify the relationship between pragmatic teaching and Chinese teaching.The second chapter introduces the selection and value of Lu Xun's articles in Chinese textbooks for middle schools.The third chapter introduces the necessity and feasibility of introducing pragmatic teaching to the teaching of Lu Xun's articles.The fourth chapter analyses the problems identified when teaching Lu Xun's articles by analyzing the reasons and finding the source.The fifth chapter introduces new teaching strategy in the view of pragmatic teaching.This is the key part of this article,and clarifies the word refinement,dialogue,rhetoric,context and pragmatic experience in selected Lu Xun's articles.The sixth chapter uses Blessing as an example to show the benefit of combining pragmatic teaching with the teaching of Lu Xun's articles,which is also a key part in this article.
