With the continuous development of community education,community educators as the main force of community education have been widely concerned.The research of community educators' professional growth is of great significance for improving their professional development level.This thesis takes Baoding city as the research area to explore how community educators grow professionally,carry out the investigation and have in-depth interviews with community educators to more comprehensively understand their professional growth,positive factors and negative factors in the process of their professional growth,through literature analysis,interviews and case study method.Put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions to better the community educators for professional growth.This thesis includes five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly expounds the origin,purpose and significance of the research,the situation at home and abroad of the research,the contents,methods and technical routes,the key points,difficulties and innovations of the research.The second chapter introduces the core concepts of this research,clarifies the concepts of community educators and professional growth,explores three important theories,namely the occupation career development theory,specialization theory and lifelong education theory,and analyzes these three theories' reference to community educators.The third chapter using the interview method and case study method,on the basis of the six types which community educators were divided into,presents and analyzes the cases of the six representative research object deeply processes the results of the survey and presents community educators dynamic experiences of professional growth.The fourth chapter is based on the third chapter,the status quo of the professional growth of community educators,from which we extract and analyze the positive and negative factors that affect their professional growth.The fifth chapter puts forward strategies to promote the professional growth of community educators based on four aspects: the government,the community,the community educators and the social organization.
