Problem solving,an important part of primary school mathematics curriculum objectives,is to solve practical problems in life with the knowledge and methods of algebra.Fractional application is a significant part of solving problems,meanwhile it is also the key point and difficult point of the primary school students to study.The reasons are various,but the most important one is that both the fraction and the fractional application are abstract so that the quantitative relations are difficult to find.Some of the built-in reasons can not be avoided,but if we can face up to these difficulties,our teaching can be more and more efficient.We hope by means of figuring out what went wrong and try to fix it in the study of fractional application,students can make less mistakes.In this paper,the author has compiled a set of test volume and questionnaire for the sixth grade test by using the text book and the teaching materials.Through a unified test of the sixth grade students,the author try to use excel to collate and analyze the result of the answer and the scoring rate of each question.The analysis result shows that it is more frequent for students to make mistakes in fractional application study.According to thequestionnaire and the normal teaching,the problems existing in the teaching and the students' learning are found.Through the statistics and collation of the questionnaire survey results of the students' fractional application,the problems of the students' methods and the matter of habits were found.At the same time,combined with the results of the above two questionnaires,the author further analyzed the main errors of the students' fractional application.These main errors are that the students can't exactly find out the “unit 1”and cannot choose the right method flexibly;the ratio is not corresponding to the actual quantity;the question is not clear and the miscalculation.Through questionnaires and interviews,the following problems are found in teachers:(1)The teaching methods are inflexible.While learning new knowledge,students do not really understand the connotation of it,and just learn by rote.(2)Teachers spends little time in teaching how to analyze the questions.(3)Teachers always ignore computational instruction.(4)The teacher should pay attention to the diversification of teaching methods and try to avoid simplification.Through the questionnaire survey,students are found to have the following problems in their study:(1)In the ordinary study,they are lack of thinking;even for some things they are not to think about the context,not to understand deeply.(2)The ability to read without careful comprehension needs to be improved,which affects the students' ability of examination.(3)Their computing ability needs to be further improved.(4)The student analyzed the quantity relation carelessly.In the end,this paper analyzes the reasons of error,and summarizes the teaching cases of fractional application in combination with ordinary teaching experience in order to reduce the occurrence of errors.At the same time,the author will share her own collection of fractional multiplication and division to the students and teachers of Grade Six.
