Innovation is the foundation of social development and the source of human progress.Engineering technology,as the most important tool for human transformation of the world,is the most direct embodiment of innovation capability.Nowadays,science and technology develops quickly,engineering talents represent the level of national strength to some extent.Because of this,cultivating innovative engineering talents that meet the requirements of the times and meet the needs of the country has become the most important task in the field of education.Creativity is the unique comprehensive ability of human beings.The development of creativity is the key to the cultivation of innovative talents.The analysis of the composition of creativity can provide a clear idea for the training of innovative engineering talents in Colleges and universities.Creativity is an important criterion to judge whether an individual has innovative quality.Generally speaking,creativity represents new and valuable ideas or actions.The level of individual creativity needs to be taken into account in many aspects.Based on this,by comparing the characteristics of engineering education and engineering talents at home and abroad,combining with the clear demand of our society for engineering talents,this paper analyzes the conceptual framework of creativity of engineering talents and clarifies the connotation and structure of the creativity of engineering talents.Through the comparative analysis of creativity single factor theory,three factor theory and multi factor theory,the definition of engineering talents creativity is defined.Creativity of engineering talents is a kind of comprehensive ability.Under the background of engineering and science and technology,engineering talents make use of limited resources,use creative thinking to put forward new problem solutions or design practical products and transform them into practical results.The factors that affect the creativity of engineering talents include internal and external factors: internal factors are innovative thinking ability which include motivation and consciousness,the mastery of innovation methods and strategies,emotion,volition,character and other personal characteristics.The external factors include the creative working environment and atmosphere,and the degree and pressure of input.According to the composition of the creativity of engineering talents,this study takes the creative thinking ability,innovation method and strategy,individual trait,working environment and atmosphere,input degree and pressure as the first level dimension of the creativity of engineering talents,and each dimension contains a number of factors.Taking the students of innovation practice class and Creative Workshop in Dalian University of Technology's innovation and entrepreneurship College as samples,the rationality and reliability of the creativity system of engineering talents are verified by empirical analysis,and the effects of creative practice class and creative workshop on the creativity of engineering talents are tested differently.The results show that there is a significant difference between the working environment and the engineering talents who join the creative workshop,and there is no significant difference in other dimensions.There are significant differences in the dimensions of engineering talents creativity system by joining practice classes.Joining the innovative practice class can affect the level of creativity of engineering talents.According to the findings of the survey data,it is believed that the practical classes and creative workshop in the innovation and entrepreneurship College of Dalian University of Technology can have a positive impact on the cultivation of creativity of engineering talents.Therefore,taking the talent training system of innovation and entrepreneurship College of Dalian University of Technology as a reference,the training system of engineering talents is constructed from the aspects of training objectives,curriculum system,organization management system and assessment and evaluation system,so as to provide ideas for the training of innovative engineering talents in Colleges and Universities.
