In recent years, with the continuous improvement of China’s comprehensive strength and international influence, the number of overseas students in China is accelerating. As of 2017,a total of more than 489,200 overseas students from 204 countries and regions came to our country for study. At the same time, the trend of younger students coming to China is also accelerating.Under the background of Cross-culture,the psychological problems of overseas students who live in China due to factors such as language differences and cultural conflicts and troubles about study or life have also become increasingly apparent. It is imminent to attach importance to mental health of overseas students.Research shows that social support has a positive effect on alleviating individual stress, improving Cross-cultural adaptability and coping skills. We will explore the reality of the problem.Such as what is social support status for international students in China? Are there any similarities in the social support status of international students with different countries and religions? Do these differences or social support have any effect on the mental health of international students in China? What we can do it?In this study,we randomly selected 564 international students in China who had done questionnaire survey and 10 international students with interview. The relationship between social support and mental health of international students was analyzed empirically, and the current situation and problems of different sources of social support for international students in China were analyzed. On the basis of interviews with international student administrators, teachers and some international students in China, this paper puts forward some education countermeasures, like constructing a "four in one" social support system for international students in China,so as to improve the mental health of students studying in China. The research conclusions are as follows.(1)The level of psychological health of international students in China is low,and their mental health status is affected to varying degrees by age, educational level, religious beliefs, time in China, making friends and satisfaction with the school.(2)There was a significant negative correlation between social support and mental health scores for international students in China, that is,the higher the social support for international students, the better their mental health status.(3)The social support of international students in China has predictive effect on mental health, which shows that the higher the score of social support, the lower the score of their mental health.(4)Peers and family members can provide effective emotional support for international students in China and the overall situation is good.Education schools and social environment can provide basic tools and information support for foreign students. However, the social support of compatriots and family members needs to be continuously strengthened, and policy, support services, the international cultural atmosphere of education schools and social environment need to be improved.Based on the above conclusions, this paper proposes a "four in one" society with macrocosm, middle concept and microcosm, with peers as the core layer, the family as the sub-core,the education school as the middle layer, and the social environment as the outer layer are all discussed.
