In the context of the new curriculum reform,students are required to learn to learn while acquiring basic knowledge.There are many basic concepts and knowledge points in biology,and the knowledge points are trivial.Students have great difficulty in grasping and remembering the whole knowledge.The chunking is a memory method that integrates knowledge and tries to apply chunking teaching to the biology class.At the same time,it hopes to help students build a complete and orderly knowledge system and cultivate students' self-learning ability.In this construction process,students' ability to memorize,summarize,and analyze will be improved.This article uses literature analysis and comparison method,questionnaire survey,test paper test method,experiment method and other research methods.The class that the author teaches is used as the experimental class.Classes that are not significantly different from the class taught by the author are selected as the control class.The experimental class teaching method The chunking teaching method was adopted,and the control class adopted the conventional teaching method.Questionnaires were sent out before and after the teaching practice to investigate the students' understanding of the knowledge of biological knowledge,the situation of selfconstructed knowledge systems,the establishment of links between biological knowledge points and understanding of students' learning methods.One month after the implementation of chunking teaching to the second monthly examination time of the second grade,the results of the second monthly examination were analyzed,the independent sample t-test method was used,and the total scores,analytical comprehension abilities and inductive summary abilities were included.In the knowledgerecognition category,the experimental class scored a little higher than the control class but there was no significant difference.This may be due to the relatively short teaching time(1 month)in the experimental class and the ineffective teaching effect.Three months later,when the final exam time was reached,an analysis of the final exam scores was conducted.Using the independent sample t-test method,it was found that the application of chunking teaching did not significantly improve the scores of students' memorabilia,but the total score of students.And the ability to analyze and comprehend the ability to classify topic scores and summarize the improvement of the ability class topic scores have a significant role in promoting.In summary,the conclusions obtained in this study are as follows:(1)The chunking teaching helps to improve the student's self-learning ability.(2)The chunking teaching improved the students' ability of summarizing,analyzed and understood the ability,strengthened the students' overall grasp of knowledge,had a good influence on the students' academic performance,and effectively promoted the cultivation of students' abilities;but There is no significant improvement in knowledge.(3)Chunking teaching requires a long period of time to achieve better results.
