Current affairs news comes from the reality of life.It is a teaching assistant and off-campus curriculum resource that is widely used in the teaching of geography.In the geography teaching of high school,the trend of “geography in learning life,”“learning geography needed for lifelong development”,setting up students' correct values,and cultivating student abilities is becoming more and more emphasized,and current affairs news combines life in high school geography teaching.Actually,it plays an indispensable role in cultivating student abilities.Therefore,how to fully demonstrate the application value of current affairs news in geography teaching is worthy of consideration and exploration of geography teaching in high schools.In the high school geography teaching,regional geography teaching is one of the most practical contents in the discipline of geography.It not only contains the synthesis,application of human geography and natural geography,but also is a teaching content with deep relevance to student life.The research “Application of Current Affairs News in High School Regional Geography Teaching” is uniquely representative in the application of current news in high school geography teaching.Based on the above understanding,this paper explores the status of current affairs news in high school regional geography teaching through questionnaires.It also analyzes the problems existing in the application of current news in high school regional geography teaching.It also proposes the teaching plan design of current news application in geography teaching in senior high school.In the teaching implementation plan design,from the perspective of professional requirements of teachers,the author proposes suggestions on the current problems in the current status of current news application,such as: sound current affairs news teaching ideology,etc.Finally,on the basis of the practice of teaching practice,examples of teaching case design for reference.There are six parts in this article:The first part is the introduction part,expounds the research background and research significance of this paper,and introduces the research status at home and abroad.The second part is the definition of the core concepts and the theoretical basis.In this part,it the core concepts of current affairs news and regional high school geography are identified,the theoretical support of current affairs news in high school regional geography teaching is analyzed,and its theoretical value is analyzed.The third part is the investigation and analysis of the status.Through questionnaires and surveys of teachers and students,this paper summarizes the current status and existing problems of current news in high school regional geography teaching.The fourth part is the design of the teaching implementation plan.It proposes the teaching implementation plan for current news application in high school regional geography teaching,systematically sorts the current goal of the news design in high school regional geography teaching application,teaching principle design,teaching application mode,teaching Application needs attention and teachers' professional requirements.The fifth part is the application of current news teaching practice.It presents “the application methods of current affairs news combined with the high school regional geography teaching classroom”.Based on the practical practice of teaching,it draws out case demonstration and reflection of teaching application.The sixth part is the conclusion and prospect of this paper.It states the conclusions of this paper,the research insufficiency and the future of research on this topic.
