Research On The Status Quo Of College Students' Occupational Values And Countermeasures In New Era

The report of the 19 th CPC National Congress made a major judgment that socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era and opened a new journey of building a modernized country with Chinese characteristics and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.The new era gives new missions and the new journey marks a new future.General Secretary Xi Jinping sent an earnest message to the young university students."We must strengthen our ideals and convictions,keep a lofty aspirations,be down-to-earth,and be brave about the tide of the times." However,at present,many young college students tend to have utilitarian,egoistic,and hedonistic tendencies to a certain extent,which is far from the requirements put forward by young people in the party and the country.As we all know,professional values are an important part of a person's value system and are a concrete manifestation of values in the professional field.The value orientation of young college students is either practical utilitarian or heart and family.We can get answers by examining their professional values.This article attempts to take the survey on the status quo of the vocational values of college students in the new era as the starting point,in order to find problems,reflect on the status quo,and explore the contents,principles and methods of nurturing the vocational values of college students in the new era.Specifically,this article sets out from the background of the new era,expounds the connotation of the new era and the new demands of the new era for young college students.This paper argues that college students must establish scientific and correct professional values in order to become a newcomer in the era of national rejuvenation.Based on this,this article elaborates on the connotation,formation,characteristics,and theoretical basis of college students' professional values.Afterwards,this article analyzes and summarizes the results of the survey on the vocational values of college students in the new era,and draws on the overall status quo and differences in the professional values of college students in the new era,and concludes that there are problems in the vocational values of college students in the new era.Finally,based on the problems of the professional values of college students in the new era,this paper starts from the four levels of college students themselves,colleges,families,and society.It deeply introspects the causes,and on this basis explores the career values of college students in the new era.The nurturing content,principles,and methods put forward a practicable path of practice in order to guide the university students to establish scientific and correct professional values,grasp the direction of life development,assume theresponsibility of national rejuvenation,and strive to realize the Chinese dream in social practice.Float youth dreams,write life chapters in unremitting struggle for the people's interests.
