| As China’s comprehensive national power continues to rise,the Chinese fever is sweeping around the whole world.As Chinese is one of the most difficult languages to learn,it is always been a challenge when teaching national students how to master it during the process of teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages.In the initial stage of learning Chinese,using the game teaching method will effectively relieve students’ boredom in their study.This paper will briefly introduce the game teaching method,the commonly used practical game teaching methods and operation principles and points for attention in the elementary stage of teaching Chinese to foreign learners.The author was engaged in teaching practice of Chinese in Malasawanphittaya Middle school,Saraburi,norther Thailand from June,2017 to September,2017.In order to improve the students’ interest in learning Chinese,the writer set a series of games according to the characteristics of the students in different age stages.Based on the teaching practice,this paper studies the effect and existing problems of the application of game teaching method when teaching Chinese to speakers of other language.Specifically,this thesis mainly includes the following five parts:The first part clarifies the research background,current situation,research significance and research methods.In Chinese thermal heating up,learning Chinese is difficult to under the background of the learners’ anxiety,according to different teaching object and teaching environment,the game teaching method in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,plays a positive role,this paper has theoretical significance and practical significance.According to therequirements of the research,this paper adopts the methods of literature,observation,induction,questionnaire and so on.The second part elaborates the theoretical research and principle of game teaching method.Based on the education psychology,second language acquisition theory,immersive theory and learning motivation theory,the author discusses the theoretical basis for the generation and application of game teaching.According to the four theoretical basis in this paper,the game teaching method in the process of teaching Chinese as a foreign language shall follow the principle of interest,practical communicative principle,practical principle,cultural principle,to remind the Chinese teachers should recognize the game teaching method can make the language learning fun,achieve communicative context,the implementation of "knowledge",stimulate students’ learning enthusiasm,and encourage students to the characteristics of mutual exchange and communication,give full play to their role in the process of the game teaching method in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The third chapter elaborates the concrete practice of game teaching method in class and analyzes the practice effect.Under the premise of Malasawanphittaya Middle school ’s basic situation,the writer setting games in pronunciation,Chinese characters,Chinese words and grammar teaching according to different ages,different personality characteristics of students and different teaching environment.Then,analyzing the effect from the perspectives of students,teachers and games.The fourth chapter analyzes the questionnaire of the application effect of game teaching method in Thailand classroom,simply states the objects and reliability of the questionnaires.And analyzes the effect and requirement from the motivation of students learning Chinese,students’ attitude towards game teaching method,students’ requirement towards Chinese teachers and the effect of game teaching method.Through analyzing the results of questionnaires,using game teaching method in elementary Chinese class in Thailand that can not onlylet students learn knowledge,improve the ability of Chinese,also can let them have fun,and increase with the teacher’s friendship.The fifth chapter is about the thinking of game teaching method in classroom application.Teaching practice shows that the game teaching method in the Chinese class can active classroom atmosphere,create language situation and promote the advantages of the comprehensive quality.However,there is also a lack of theoretical basis,entertainment excessive and improper operation,etc.Therefore,teachers need to consider students’ needs in game design,preparation and operation,so as to give play to the advantages of game teaching.The sixth chapter is the conclusion.This thesis expounds the advantages and disadvantages of the game teaching method in the primary Chinese teaching in Thailand and the prospect of the future development of the game teaching method. |
