Social Case Work Intervenes In Solving Spiritual Comfort Issue Of The Mothers Losing The One Child

On December 27,2015,the National People's Congress Standing Committee voted on the amendment to the Population and Family Planning Law.The universal two-child policy was scheduled to take effect on January 1,2016.Since then,the phenomenon of the mothers losing the one child caused by the family planning policy has become history.However,this situation,especially the dilemma and spiritual appeal faced by the mother group,is still a difficult issue to solve within a short period of time.Although the current government has carried out policies on the economic support and medical care for the group,there are still many other aspects need to be improved.Specifically,the mothers also lack spiritual solace because of their children's injuries and deaths.Most of them are missing.These mothers is always at the stage of self-healing.The special experience will cause them to become mentally desperate.In severe cases,they may even experience autism,depression and suicide.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance for social working to pay attention to the status and the predicament of the mothers,to understand their emotional appeals,and to help them out of the predicament.During the professional internship in the Y community in Guangzhou,the author came into contact with numerous mothers who had lost their own child,and learned about their current life and mental state in an in-depth communication.It was found that when they lost their one child,they easily closed themselves and the sad feeling could not be mediated,causing different physical and psychological problems.Therefore,the writer recognized the urgency and importance of spiritual comfort for the mother who had lost her own child.The purpose of this study is to arouse all society to focus on the mother group,and to enrich the current research content for the objective group.This article combines the internship practice,literature materials and semistructured interviews.The paper concludes that the dilemma of the mother who lost her own child is mainly manifested in spiritless,grief,injury,medical difficulties,depressed,financially struggling,and the breakdown of marriage and etc.In addition,according to their performance,the author is dedicated to apply the social support network theory and energy augmentation theory to practical work.The author provides case service for Ms.C's spiritual comfort,Showcasing the case work process and professionally reflecting on this service.At the end,the author puts forward three suggestions.First,,establishing and improving the social security system for the objective group.Second,using multiple channels to take care of the mother.Finally,turning the “network home” of the objective group into a “spiritual home”.
