The population birth policy is one of the most important factors affecting the population change in a country or a region and has a strong lag.Since the founding of New China, the population fertility policy in our country has changed with the actual conditions of our country.Different population birth policies have been implemented at different stages, which has a significant impact on the age structure of our population.Jilin Province, when implementing the policy of population birth in our country, has implemented it with strength and achieved remarkable policy results. At the same time,Jilin Province has made the issue of the age structure of the population more prominent. To explore the influence of the age structure of population in Jilin Province on the regional economy can deeply reflect the importance of the age structure of the population in Jilin Province for the development of the region. At the same time,it is of great significance to study how to make better use of this policy in Jilin Province to promote its economic growth and achieve sustainable economic development after the introduction of the new population birth policy.Based on the existing research, this dissertation applies multidisciplinary theories such as quantitative economics,geo-economics and regional economics, taking into account the spatial effects among economic units and taking the methods of spatial analysis and spatial econometrics as the main research methods. In this paper,47 administrative units in Jilin Province are selected as research objects, and the period from 2005 to 2015 is chosen as the study period. The spatial and temporal evolution of population age structure in Jilin Province is analyzed.By constructing theoretical models and corresponding spatial econometrics models, the adjacency matrix and inverse distance matrix,Analyzes the influence of the change of age structure of population in Jilin Province on the regional economy, and draws conclusions and puts forward corresponding suggestions. The thesis is divided into six chapters:The first chapter is the introduction, which mainly introduces the research background, research purpose and main contents of the dissertation, and reviews the literature at home and abroad to form the research methods and technical route of the dissertation. The second chapter is related concepts and theoretical basis.Related concepts include the meaning of population age structure and classification criteria, the concept and criteria of population aging,population-related concepts.Related theories include theory of population transition, theory of population change and economic growth and theory of regional economic growth. The third chapter is the implementation of population fertility policy and effect analysis, including the evolution of China's population birth policy and the impact of population fertility policy. The fourth chapter analyzes the spatial and temporal evolution of the population age structure in Jilin Province, from the three aspects of the population age structure, the population dependency ratio and the spatiotemporal evolution of the working-age population. The fifth chapter is the spatial econometrical analysis of the impact of the changes in the age structure of the population in Jilin Province on the regional economy.First select the Cobb Douglas production function and the Solow model, and transform them to explore the elements that influence the regional economy.Secondly,it is the basis of econometrics, including spatial heterogeneity and spatial dependence, spatial weight matrix, spatial econometric model. Finally, the construction of space measurement model and result analysis.Chapter VI is the conclusion and outlook.Summarized the conclusions of the paper, put forward countermeasures and suggestions, summarize the innovations and shortcomings, and prospects for possible future in-depth study.
