Targeted at the normal classroom study,lesson study is intended to work out the p uzzlement in teaching activities.By collective preparations of instruction and constant self-reflection,lesson study helps teachers improve their teaching methods,professio nal knowledge and the abilities of teaching plan and evaluation,crossing the gap betw een teaching theories and teaching practice.This passage is intended to discuss whether Politics lesson study research has a positive effect on teachers' professional development and from which aspects the lesson study research contributes to the teachers' professional development.Firstly,this passage puts forward some related definitions,pointing out the current bottlenecks of teachers' development and the necessity of carrying out the lesson study research.Secondly,it illustrates the achievements and drawbacks of the present lesson study research.Thirdly,based on the Literature Review,the passage tries to get the basic theories of the lesson study research.By analyzing the lesson study research and adopting the questionaire and interview which are about the effects that Politics lesson study research have on the teachers' professional development,the passage puts forward some effective measures to promote Politics lesson study research.
