| As a starting point for college students to receive college education after entering college,the effectiveness of freshman education is related to whether the new students can successfully achieve the transformation of the role of college students,and determine the four years of personal development of the university and even later the development of life.Therefore,freshman education has been increasingly valued by universities in recent years.With the attention of universities,colleges and universities are constantly exploring and innovating in the work of freshmen’s education.From the single form of classroom education that universities have traditionally arranged in the past,a variety of new forms of education have been gradually developed.More and more subjects such as peers,the teacher,parents participate in freshmen education.The education of freshmen no longer depends solely on counselors and schools.The educational content also extends from the basic school system and school rules and disciplines education to the freshmen’s adaptive education,etc.New education is gradually becoming systematic and comprehensive.As a result,freshman education has also evolved into a continuous and dynamic development governance process,in which diverse entities participate in the governance of freshmen education.Although multi-subjects participate in the formation of freshman education consciousness,the governance concepts of freshmen education in specific governance practices are not fully implemented.The effectiveness of governance methods is also open to question,and the new media precisely provide equal communication for the multi-subjects of new education.The platform for participation provides a new and effective way for the innovation of new education concepts,contents and methods.With the continuous development of information technology,the influence of new media continues to expand.With its instant,convenient and open features,new media have penetrated deeply into all areas of society and brought people a full range of profound influence.It can be said that people’s lives,learning,all work is inseparable from new media.As a generation that has grown up with the Internet,contemporary freshmen are the mainstream audience of new media.This new media environment has provided new possibilities for the scientific and effective management of freshmen’s education.With the help of new media,the governance concept has been used to continuously optimize freshmen’s education.New media has become an important tool and work platform for the governance of new education,but at the same time it has also brought new and huge challenges to the management of freshman education.This article explains the basic connotation and theoretical basis of freshmen’s education governance and new media.Based on questionnaire surveys and interviews,this paper analyzes the current status of freshman education governance under the current new media background and points out the existing problems: new media brings freshmen with all-round shocks,multi-subject’s participation in the context of new media lacks awareness,and the effectiveness of new media in the governance of freshmen needs to be strengthened.This paper analyzes the reasons for the existing problems in the governance of freshmen education under the background of new media: the complexity of the new media environment,the lack of related governance systems,and the media literacy of multi-subjects needs to be improved.Explore the strategy for the governance of freshmen under the background of new media: strengthen the management of the new media environment,use new media to improve the quality of freshman education governance,improve the new media related mechanisms in the governance of freshmen education,and strengthen the media literacy of multi-subjects. |
