Research On The Improvement Of Local Government Statistics Work In The Era Of Big Data

Since the beginning of the 21 st century,information technology developed rapidly.Big data technology,characterized by mass data production,sharing and application,is being improved by each passing day.As a result,the way of data production,collection,processing,application and distribution have undergone a tremendous revolution.The government statistics department is no longer the sole owner and publisher of statistical data.In the age of big data,serious challenges have been put forward in the statistical authority,statistical functions,workflow and data security guarantee,etc.,In the meantime,it has also brought many opportunities for government statistical work to promote functional transformation,broaden data sources,integrate government data and enhance work efficiency,etc..In order to comply with the development requirements in the big data era,the government statistics department has made many efforts,but many of them are the toplevel design studies led by the State Statistics Bureau,less of them are solution for the problems in local statistical work.This paper USES the methods of literature research,field investigation,comparative analysis and case analysis.Firstly,introduce the main concepts of Big data and Government statistics work.analyze the impact of big data on government statistical work.Secondly,introduce the current situation of the statistical work of xilingol's government and analyzes that five problems exist in the government statistical work,which are,statistical service only focus on fulfill the needs of government,the external guarantee mechanism needs to be improved,the basis of the statistical work is weak,the data release is not in time and lack of professional data processor.Finally,based on the existing research results at home and abroad and the experience of advanced regions,this paper proposes five specific countermeasures to improve the local government statistical work,which are,to improve the service consciousness,to optimize the external environment of statistical work,to strengthen the statistical basis,to enhance the data validity and train big data talents.
