The construction of kindergartens' principals is one of the important factors that affect the development of preschool education in China.It is very important to promote the professional development of preschool education in our country,and there are many factors that affect the professional development of preschool education in our country.Promotion is an important factor to encourage the professional development of the kindergartens' principals.At present,the kindergartens' principals are mainly promoted according to the teachers' promotion system of primary and secondary school.Based on the professional development perspective,the problems existing in the promotion system and how to improve the promotion system are the key points of this study.This main research methods are literature and questionnaire survey,on the basis of literature review,questionnaire survey is carried out to the public kindergartens' principals in rural area,that taken part in the national training plan and helping plan held by Ministry of Education,of eastern,midland and western area of our country.First of all,the current promotion system and relevant policies on the professional development are analyzed;Second,this research studied the promotion opportunity of the kindergartens' principals on the basis of relevant policies,and also investigated the current promotion situation of the kindergartens' principals from the aspects of recognition degree and promotion opportunity,and then analyze the influence of the current promotion system happened to the professional demand and the development ability of the principal,then analyze the existing issues in current promotion system.From the aspect of professional development,this study found that there have following issues with the current promotion system of kindergartens' principals in rural public kindergarten: First,kindergartens' principals is an independent major which different from kindergartens' teachers in essence;Second,The kindergarten principals' promotion system which according to the teachers' promotion system makes the rural public kindergartens' principals have small promotion opportunity;Third,the current teachers' promotion system has little positive effect on principals' professional development,it is not reasonable by following up the teachers' promotion system of primary and secondary school.Based on the findings of the research,the paper puts forward that the promotion system should be carried out specially for the kindergartens' principals,that is,the rank system should be adopted to promote the professional development of the kindergartens' principals and to promote the construction of high-quality kindergartens' principals.
