Study On The WLAN Wireless Campus Network Coverage Technique In Gansu Normal University For Nationalities

WLAN is a kind of wireless communication technology,which is developed from the limited local area network.it is more and more application.Because of its advantages such as high transmission speed,high transmission efficiency,strong stability,convenient network connection and so on,Especially with the advent of the Internet era,this trend is more and more obvious.WLAN has been covered many universities and institutions.However,at present the campus network has not been popularized in Gansu Normal University for Nationalities.In order to make more and more teachers and students to use the wireless network,it is necessary to build a unified layout of the network.Based on the process of WLAN development,this paper analyzes its wide application in various disciplines,especially in the education sector,for the purposes of explaining the necessity for developing the new network form.Similar to the limited local area network,it is more common that WLAN has an agreement request by itself,such is the IEEE802.n series.The series standard also includes 3 protocol subset,such as 802.1la,B,G.and every subset protocol is different in the installation of debugging,stability and high efficiency from each other.In this paper,the specific advantages and disadvantages of different protocols are described in detail,hoping to find out the network standards for the application in Gansu Normal University for Nationalities;and then this paper describes the operating mechanism of CSMA/CA,and studies the specific process of the competition and coordination between different channels.Secondly,this paper introduces the theoretical basis of WLAN,including the installation,maintenance and debugging of WLAN,the design of the internal structure of WLAN,the component elements of WLAN,the connection operation procedures of WLAN,and the prospect of WLAN development.Compared with the limited local area network,because the network signal is not transmitted through the transmission line,but through wireless signals,so it is probably be intercepted and decoded by hackers and the safety is lower.On the basis of analyses the different wireless network installation,encryption and authentication methods,the paper will find out the application mechanism suitable for the special scene of the school,and give some suggestions on how to strengthen the safety management.In the end,referring to the experience of the construction of wireless network in Laiwu Vocational and Technical College.combined with the actual situation of the college and the consideration of the planning objectives of wireless networks,more commonly-used IEEE802.11 g with a much high transmission speed is adopted as a protocol.In order to determine the reasonable AP installation area,it is necessary to investigate the places of large flow of people,such as classroom,apartments and dining room.In the network installation scheme,the combination of AP and wireless switch is selected,and the cost of using wireless network is also designed.
