The Network of WLAN which is easy to install, deployment of flexible, scalability, andmobility strong, and many other advantages, now has become a public place of large laid thefirst choice of network layout way network. But the existing WLAN network based on the"fat"AP network mode, the typical defect is low safety coefficient, difficult maintenance andpoor expansibility, as the people’s demand of WLAN nets rate, bandwidth and anytime,anywhere on the needs of WLAN nets, big range indoor or outdoor WLAN network lay onmore and more difficult, to the requirements of the network equipment WLAN is also moreand more high, so to satisfy people to demand more than WLAN network, and how to selectthe network equipment, how to reasonable planning the wireless local area network become achallenge.In this paper, the development of the network and related WLAN criteria are simpleoverview, analyzing the current WLAN technology in the problem of application. Traditionalarchitecture and the concentration of WLAN control architecture are expounded andcomparative analysis of "thin" AP concentration control architecture network advantages,namely equipment deployed more simplified, equipment upgrades is more efficient, canprovide dynamic RF and balanced user load. So based on the above advantages, through theengineering practice, wuhan institute of physical education gymnasium design based on "thin"AP of centralized control type WLAN network, including the design of the cover means andwireless equipment selection, AC networking mode, link budget, AP design, capacity coversbudget, frequency planning, network cabling and equipment configuration, which meet thegym for high speed, stable, WLAN network safe operation, and combined with the actualsituation of our school is now nets, special wireless equipment to strengthen the selection ofequipment configuration and analysis, and use professional detection software to design goodbased on "thin" AP of WLAN network commissioning acceptance, ensure the stadium thewireless local area network overall stability, safety, reliability and scalability effectivelyascension.
