"9+3" free vocational education program,namely provide three years of free secondary vocational education to the Tibetan youth of all ethnic after the nine years of compulsory education.All the Tibetan students who enjoy the policy are a boarder which makes those vocational schools which accepted the project face severe challenges in the construction of dormitory culture.In this study,the construction of dormitory culture refers to a kind of group's cultural construction created by all students.This construction is under the school dormitory and area around the specific environment,taking the students as the main body,making the dormitory environment as the space,according to the construction of spiritual civilization as the core,with the positive,healthy and beneficial dormitory culture activity as the main content,and in the end,carrying forward the campus spiritual civilization as the main characteristics.This study selected the vice President,Director of the office,some leading teachers and Tibetan students involved "9 + 3" program as the research object.These students are major in mechanical and electrical engineering,computer science,numerical control major,automotive engineering,and preschool education.In addition,a dorm teacher who is in charge of the boys' dormitory involved.From the four dimensions of material culture,spiritual culture,management culture,behavior culture construction,the "9 + 3" Tibetan students' dormitory culture construction were investigated with the aid of the action research method.Research findings:1,the school provided less in the "9+3" students of material life.It did not meet the basic requirements of students.2,The spirit of care the "9+3"students got was not enough,and it is lack of activities.3,There are some problems still in the management of dormitory,the quantity of dorm teachers is too little,and the management system is not perfect.4,There is no special teacher in charge of the"9+3" students' behavior habits training and psychological counseling work.According to these facts,this study finally put forward the following suggestions to further strengthen the dormitory management of the "9+3" students:1,Improve the living conditions,and propose the school building a Muslim dining room.In addition,a public bath should be established.2,Enrich the students' campus culture life.Add the legal system of knowledge and national unity in the moral education curriculum.At the same time,arrange special psychological counselors and life teachers to give life and psychological guidance to the students.3,Improve the quality of the dorm staff.Give professional training and skills contest to the dorm staff regularly and increase inspection to the dorm staff.Reestablished the school dormitory management regulations,the responsibility of dorm teachers and dormitory manage emergency plan.It is firmly believed that "9 + 3" students' dormitories will have a new look in the future under the strong support of the school,in the perfect protection system,from the efforts of the school faculty,staff and students.Finally the students will learn some practical skills and make their efforts for the development of the Tibetan inhabited areas.Thereby reducing pressure of the school in the management of the dormitory and creating a safe,stable,healthy and upward campus environment.
