Research On The Cultivation Of College Students Responsibility Under The New Media

In the new media era,the information spreads quickly through various media,among which the bad contents greatly impact people’s values.College students are among the main groups using the new media and are affected by the contents they convey.During the college years,they haven’t fully developed physically and mentally and are vulnerable to negative ideas.Moreover,some of them have a weak sense of responsibility,lacking in responsible actions.Therefore,exploring responsibility cultivation of college students under the perspective of the new media is of great significance to strengthen their sentiment and will of responsibility and promote their overall development and healthy growth.This article first elaborates some concepts related to the new media,responsibility,etc.Then under the guidance of Marxist theory and combining the theories relevant to ethics and psychology,it analyses the questionnaires about college students’ responsibility carried out on the basis of material acquisition and analysis,and studies their bad responsibility performances and the causes behind.Finally,it puts forward ways to cultivate college students’ responsibility.This article has five parts.The first part is introduction.The second part defines and expounds the connotation and characteristics of the new media and some connotations related to responsibility,and discusses the relevant theoretical bases of this article.The third part,having made clear college students’ responsibility,discusses the importance of college students’ responsibility cultivation under the vision of the new media from perspectives of three benefits,college students’ overall development,the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,and social harmony.The fourth part is an empirical analysis of the status quo of college students’ responsibility under the threshold of the new media,which seeks their negati’ve performances and causes behind from four major aspects,college students themselves,family,university,and the society.The fifth part analyses ways to cultivate college students’ responsibility under the new media.College students themselves are supposed to increase their awareness of responsibility and strengthen their responsibility actions.Families should put emphasis on guiding college students in responsibility.Parents should develop good values of family education and pay attention to their education methods.Colleges and universities should attach importance to the cultivation of students’ responsibility,pay attention to the cultivation of legal awareness and media literacy of college students,strengthen the construction of teachers,improve education methods,and create a good campus new media environment The society should guide college students with mainstream values,improve related responsibility systems,and play a positive role in the new media.
